Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Samantha Walz. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Samantha, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
TRIAL AND ERROR! From the time that we start from a young age to being in our 20’s, 30’s and so on, our career choices are always changing. Finding your niche is always a difficult task in life, some more than others. For me it wasn’t until I started my journey with marketing and design in college…3 years after I had graduated from highschool and countless undecisive thoughts on what I wanted to do. I have always had a passion for design and business consulting, so I got on Google, did some research and that’s how I found out about the Marketing and Design field – best of both worlds! *Google is a girl’s best friend nowadays*

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am now a proud business owner/founder of Rose Customs Web & Design, started in 2020 and still going strong! The most exciting part of my business is being able to help fellow business owners with establishing their brand, getting them the attention they deserve after all of their hard work they’ve put in and still putting into their business. I am a strong believer in “Quality over Quantity” and building relationships with clients who choose to work with Rose Customs WMD because big cooperate companies often think “We Want Money”, but I think “I Want to Help Businesses Make Money”. My business focuses on the custom aspect of it, where I work until my clients absolutely love their branding, where their logo is unique to their business, their website design tells their story and what separates their business from the rest!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
*ATTENTION TO DETAIL – This is very important for the designing world because one mistake in a design can make a huge different for a business brand.

*HARD WORKING – I am always putting in the hours, day and night, to make sure that I am doing all that I can for my clients. *When owning a business, you’re on call 24/7!*

*CUSTOMER SERVICE – I don’t want my clients to feel like they are being treated like just another job. I try to be personable with my clients and build relationships with them, so they aren’t afraid of asking for help or feeling like they are a burden to deal with. My mission is to help business owners, not “deal” with them!

For all the people out there trying to build a business of their own, you are going to run into roadblocks and dead ends. The one piece of advice I have for you is NEVER GIVE UP. If you are serious about your business, put in more work, do your research and ask for help when you need it!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always looking for business owners to connect with because when starting your own business, there are going to be a lot of things you need to know and establish! I want to get my business out there for the communities to see, so they know that they always have a helping hand here with Rose Customs Web and Design. If you need to get presence on the internet, I’m ready to design your website and optimize it. If you need to get a logo and business cards designed, I’ll design the perfect customized branding. If you need help with just knowing what you need to do to get your business up and running, I will be here to help you every step of the way!
