All right – today, we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Samuel Oppong. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation; we’ve shared it below.
All right, so we’re thrilled to have Samuel with us today – welcome, and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your most admired qualities. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Throughout my life, I was not someone who was never motivated to have a strong work ethic. I always had a strong work ethic because I did not need motivation when I was motivated to work on my craft or life purpose in life. If I need motivation, it will not be the right profession for me when I have a passion for things I need and want to accomplish. A wise man once told me that no one could coach me or give my energy level or effort. Individuals like me always stay energized because we work on our craft.
Thanks, so before we move on, maybe you can share more about yourself?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment, and often, it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to the three that matter most, which skills or qualities would you focus on?
Of all the things I can talk about, these three things are important to me. They are:
- I am Real & Auethetic. Being Real & Auethetic helps me grow as a person, helps me connect with my audience, and helps me create to be a complete person and individual where I gain respect from my peers.
- I am very easy to with work. Also, the reason behind that is that I never get tired. I always go the extra mile and create balance by having self-confidence. When I feel fatigued, I communicate more and have more discipline in myself. Every morning I wake up, I show up with the same mindset every day.
- Storytelling as a person is important. Storytelling helps us use art and life skills to connect with the world. Our lives, with the choices we make in our careers or daily selves, consist of two things. We have to practice, and we have to train. We have to practice as much as possible and as often as possible.
You can ask yourself, did you get better each day or have a bad day? You can go to bed making excuses or go to bed and wake up each day getting better and adding 1% to your life.
All right, before we go, we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you knew you only had a decade of life left.
One challenge I faced was being consistent and having a mindset. I believe consistency and mindset lead to greatness. I started to learn how to change my mindset, life, and habits; I started to realize something: people tend to avoid creating a vision for their lives because they believe it won’t exist. They always ask themselves: “Why to make a vision when it’s impossible to accomplish those things anyway” I’ve also noticed something common over the years: the most interesting, accomplished people I know all have a vision for their lives. They seem to know what comes next, like they’ve seen the future. They celebrate the little wins after completing them. On the other hand, the people I usually meet or know are stuck and have that hopeless look in their eyes, like they’re just passing the time in life without joy or aspiration; those people don’t have a vision. Many of them don’t even have long-term goals. This was painfully true.
