We were lucky to catch up with Scorpioluvv recently and have shared our conversation below.
Scorpioluvv , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed my confidence and self esteem over time, from life experiences. Dealing with the up’s and down’s in growing up was extremely hard, but I had to really just focus on ME. Not what the crown was doing. I had to block everything out & keep eyes on my own path. I worked overtime to avoid comparison, and I kept GOD first in EVERYTHING I did, and do. I taught myself how to love me, and accept myslef for who I was/am, flaws and all. And to give 100% in everything I added my name to. My work ethic is also something that helped me build confidence. When you give your best, and results show that, its definitely a confidence booster.

I do a number of things. Im really a jack of all trades *toot toot* LOL , I’m a mother, a wife and a business owner from Los Angeles and my passion is to create! I hand-make jewelry, as well as custom clothing & accessories. I’ve been blessed to be able to focus on my craft and build my company while juggling motherhood.
SCORPIOLUVV LLC is my baby I’ve worked on during the pandemic. It unofficially started in my kitchen in 2012, then we became offical in 2019. Now as of March 2023, we’re located on Crenshaw at Visionary Studios LA, and we are so happy with the progress. SCORPIOLUVV LLC is a umbrella company providing all things fashion & style. All custom pieces are made with love & intention, meant to uplift & encourage our consumer while they take on life’s crazy roller coaster. Our items are intended to build self esteem and spread love. We offer lifestyle products as well as styling tips, recommendations and where to find the best deals. Because saving is imperative and generational wealth is the goal! We are active in our community and often have pop-ups in different cities every month. We are excited about our growth & our future ⚡
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
3 qualities that helped me, let’s see…. I’m dedicated, I’m consistent and I listen.
Growing a business definitely takes dedication, you’ve gotta be devoted to the task if you want results. For me, being dedicated is a sign of integrity. Which has been instilled in me since a kid. Being consistent is key. . Results will not happen over night. 
I repeat….lol. You gotta keep swimming. You gotta put the work in. And it WILL NOT be easy. Consistency brings accuracy. Master your craft.
And third, I LISTEN.
Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
My mom has been my rock when it comes to business. She’s my rock in all areas, but she really knows business. I’m thankful to have her guidance. Fareal! I call ALL THR TIME lol. Wether it’s marketing conversations, or client connections. Grammatical questions and/or IT concerns, accounting and backend stuff…. My mom is a queen. A black queen to be exact! Even though I’m a whole adult and mother (lol), my mom continues to do her best to push me towards greatness. I wouldn’t be me if it wasn’t for her. No lie.
