Meet Sharelle Wilbert

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sharelle Wilbert a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Sharelle with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My work ethic definitely come from my mother. My mother has always been a strong , hard working woman and she instilled that in me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I specialize in professional photography and I’ve been doing photography for over 12 years now and I would say photography is very rewarding! Photography is art to me and it truly makes me happy! This year I’m focusing on creating more projects and photographing fashion shows.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I would say having knowledge in lighting! Great lighting will make the best photo! Also, having a strong mindset in knowing everyone is not going to like your work. I would suggest beginner photographers to really take the time to learn and understand the camera settings. don’t be shy to ask for help and study the best photographers around! If you do that, you’ll be just fine.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always looking for people to collaborate with. I have so many ideas! I would like to collaborate with people of all ethnicities and backgrounds. I can be reached via email at [email protected]
