Meet Sienna Benton

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Sienna Benton a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Sienna, appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?
To be honest, simply from a promise I made to a loved one that passed away while serving in Afghanistan. His plane crashed, and it’s something I don’t think I will ever get over. Every veteran understands the sacrifice that comes with serving in the military. Losing loved ones is a lifelong torment. The emotional weight his death has had on my heart is sometimes unbearable. When I wake up I have to remember I made him a promise I would still try to experience the beautiful sides of life on Earth. So I guess you could say my resilience is coming from the respect I have for that promise I made him.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Does anyone do just one thing anymore? I feel like in this economy everyone has had to become multifaceted to stand out amongst all the competition across the board in several fields. I know in entertainment, fashion, and publishing it helps to know a little about alot. I live in Los Angeles, so when I was pursuing acting, I quickly learned no one cared. There are so many actors and models out here, so competition is pretty fierce. When I was at red carpets, and someone asked me what I did, I discovered if I said I was an actor, it didn’t generate the same interest as when I said I was a photographer. Being a photographer is what landed me on 9 Bullets with Lena Heady and Sam Worthington.

Anyways ultimately if you stick around this town long enough, you learn having multiple skills helps you get on more sets, and definitely helps you network. My military background booked me USAA, USO, Tenet, and military related ads/jobs. Photography got me published in multiple magazines (Variety, Vogue Italia, The Guardian, Kavyar publications, etc.) Modeling landed me on photo tours with UT Adventure, published in Los Angeles Magazine, Vogue Italia, several Kavyar publications, and put me on the runway. My graphic design and marketing skills keep me busy with Life is Art Magazine where I’ve published various celebrities and created ads for multiple brands.

Most recently I’ve been activating my intuitive gifts in akashic reading, light language, and sound bath cymatics. Super unexpected twist in my hero’s journey, but anyone who has been going through their awakening knows how important it is to listen to their guides, and trust that these gifts simply choose you for a reason. I realize now my past experiences were just puzzle pieces and skills to serve me in my real mission. (Although, I don’t know exactly what that is, because the plot is still unfolding), but I do know my guides want me to continue to focus on Life is Art Magazine, akashic reading, sound bath cymatics, and light language.

I’ve been publishing talent in Life is Art with intention. In my latest issue, I featured Debbie Solaris, who did a reading for me. I was lucky enough to get on her client list before she officially switched over to teaching. I learned a huge portion of what I know about akashic from her, so in gratitude I just had to put her on my cover. Same thing with Ty-El Heals and Stacy ELena. Their work in light language is just incredible, and you couldn’t ask for better teachers, so I had to shout them out as well.

Even celebrities like Melora Hardin (Jan from “The Office”) are channeling angels into their work. I specifically love that Melora was brave enough to talk about that in our interview because art is a form of channeling. Not to mention, I love a good femme fatale, and her character, Jan is on that list. I think Jan’s character really does represent the modern working woman today. So many have gotten degrees, started their own businesses, and are in leadership roles. All while trying to find love, and raise a family. I felt bad for Jan’s character because I think out of that entire cast she really embodied the dark night of the soul. She lost her job, her relationship, went into a deep hermit mode, then found peace, and named her daughter Astrid (which means “Beloved of the gods”). Jan’s character was the starseed in that show, and it’s 144 as write this.

(If you don’t know the meaning of 144, Google “144 lightworkers” or “144 The Chosen Ones”, and enjoy the rabbit hole).

When Earth assignments aren’t keeping me busy, my starseed Andromedan *ss is meditating with the universe. Looking and learning about more soul groups in the akashic records, taking guidance from my soul group, and ancestors. Trying not to get too delulu here, but I sent an intention for this to reach any of the 144 who get what I’m actually saying 😉

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Love, Loss, and asking the RIGHT questions. Brandon was always big on integrity. He always used to make our Summer Leadership School JROTC cadets say the definition, which is doing the right thing even when no one is looking.

As I grow in my journey I’ve learned to question what the “right thing” actually is. We grow up being told that the right thing to do is pay your taxes, because it’s the law. But what if the law in and of itself is wrong? I don’t mind paying into programs that could give society a good education and healthcare, but clearly the system has been abused, and is absolutely out of control. The lack of accountability for the top 1% to pay their fair share is inexcusable, and the pentagon’s funding of black operations going unchecked by the government is literally forcing modern day slavery.

From now on, I’ll do what I perceive to be the “right thing” to be. I’m not saying I intend to go and break a bunch of laws, but I’ve been using my discernment to recognize which laws are driven by greed and power, versus the ones intended for the betterment of a peaceful society on this planet. I personally feel we are over taxed, and we just need to stop paying taxes until the pentagon takes accountability. If anything they owe us a check for the all our money they used to fund a genocide we didn’t want, in addition to all the other shady operations and corrupt people.

I know some of the 144 resonate on this frequency, and understand that karma is not good, nor is it evil, it is only just. So I’ve been working with my guides and shadow teams to learn more about manifesting justice. I hope others are too.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
We don’t have to collaborate but I will list some souls that I have grown to admire, and would gladly publish, if the magazine is in alignment with them.
