Meet Simona Sacchitella

We recently connected with Simona Sacchitella and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Simona, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.
You have to believe in your abilities, your skills, and know your worth! Keep trying, keep pushing until you reach your goals. Taking some risks may make your life happier and more fulfilling so you can start experiment with risk-taking in small steps to find out what level of risk enhances your life. In your career especially, you have to be brave and try! If you don’t try, if you don’t ‘risk it’, you will never know!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am an Italian (and American since 2021) fashion stylist and PR. I was born in Foggia, in the beautiful Puglia and moved to Milan to study at IULM University. While studying I started working for the press office of Roberto Cavalli and that’s when I understood that I wanted to work in fashion.

My passion for fashion mixed with love for traveling took me to LA for the first time in 2008; I, then, decided to move here in 2014.

In LA I started working as a celebrity fashion stylist.
I style both men and women with a weakness for men’s fashion, I have to admit 🙂
My clientele is international, I have clients in Italy, Brazil, USA, France and it amazes me how deeply we can connect with people from different backgrounds, learning and evolving not just for work but for our personal growth as well.

In 2022 I ventured into designing hats in collaboration with an amazing Australian hat maker, Ziggi Zuver. We created beautiful custom hats for some of my celebrity clients and some for celebrity placements that are available to pull from Posh Management in LA.
You can create your own hat from our collab through a custom process on Ziggi Zuver’s website.
I love hats and this is was a dream come true.

I also love being a PR, one of the best experience I had was working with Bvlgari.
Nowadays I live between Los Angeles and Milano.

What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
My advice for those starting their journey in fashion is to network a lot, study the trends, body types, listen to your clients and their likes and needs, to sharpen your communication skills. You have to be open minded and open hearted and be willing to listen and learn from the people you meet.

Always seek out new opportunities, don’t be afraid to ask questions, they are necessary for our growth.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is everyone who is willing to trust my vision and respects myself and my Team, I love to work in a nice and respectful environment.
