We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Snowy Rodeo a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Snowy , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I always knew that I was going to be a person who was at service for others in humanity. Working as a Psychic Medium and Empath, I have always felt a strong connection towards other people and their story. I recently decided to go through my 200 hour yoga teacher training in March. One week in, my mother passed away. The cloud of grief hovered over me for months, but nature, yoga and meditation were a big part of my coping mechanisms. During class one evening we discussed Dharma, which means “our soul’s purpose”. I was already doing tarot but I wanted to take my mediumship to the next level and get curious more about studying grief. Many of us suffer from grief and depression. I wanted to be of support and help educate others on how to survive during difficult times. Once I am certified, my offerings will include reiki, sound bowl healing, tarot, yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Snowy is a qualified Psychic Medium who gives accurate sessions through a range of Tarot Cards, Angel Cards, Oracle and Energy Crystal Healing. Her experience consists of over 15 years in Holistic Guidance involving treating the body, mind and soul.
She is a professional Spiritual Coach who uses her intuition and life lessons to offer guidance to all her clients, engaging them to move in a positive direction and face challenges.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three main qualities I value most in myself and others is commitment, curiosity and discipline. The biggest challenges in society is to take major risks or seek comfort in the unknown. Commitment and discipline go hand and hand with “being all in”. Curiosity encourages us to stay educated and learn something new.
What would you advise – going all in on your strengths or investing on areas where you aren’t as strong to be more well-rounded?
Our strengths will always lead us towards opportunities but the best outcome is when someone has taken the time and effort to be well versed in areas that takes them out of their comfort zone. I tend to be an all in person but have found that as life challenges me, my approach to being open minded and authentic requires looking at different perspectives and understanding that we have many choices.
