Stéphanie, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Finding my purpose is something I have had in me for as long as I can remember. I just didn’t think about it until I was at my whit’s-end. It’s a passion we all have in us. Each individuals find theirs at their own pace. Some may never find it. The trick is to listen to yourself. Ask yourself some questions… Do you have a passion and Is it something you feel good about? Does your purpose help others or is this a selfish idea you have that will only benefit you?
There are plenty of people in this world who only think and care about themselves. Nothing they do or say benefits anyone else. I look at them as selfish, arrogant narcissists. I have encountered many of them throughout my life. Yes! They do exists. Of course everyone makes their own decision to walk the path they walk. I personally am not interested in the super greedy. Especially when the victim is a helpless, innocent, fluffy fur-ball, who looks up to us as their protectors from evil.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I was born into an entrepreneur family where we founded the Lingerie Company “Le Mystere”. That’s my family – who created this popular Oprah trend. Just google “Oprah’s favourite bra”
Once we moved on and forward from the business, I decided I would rather use the skills I grew up with, and devote it to what touches me the most and who needs it very much. Dogs and Cats! My goal was to open up a quality on-line personal pet boutique, which I have accomplished. A big difference from the average corporate stores and my one woman (who wears all the hats) store, is that I am a full hearted animal lover and not just in it for the money. My end goal is to make as many people aware of animal neglect, abuse, puppy mills, strays and more.
I have created a Youtube channel where I put up videos to inform pet parents and non pet parents about the safety for their pets. So many pet parents are unaware of the simplest thing. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Believing in your dreams and goals and NOT giving up is the first step. Do everything you can to reach your dreams and do not quit. Consistency will get you further.
Do you want to build up your dreams, but may not be sure where or how to start? I will share what I have done and still continue to do. Most of what I have learned is from life’s experience and schooling I have attended. However, I find that with the world spinning so fast and not always being able to take new courses or keep up with the chaos, or maybe you are done with school by now and everything keeps moving forward except you feel far behind? I will find YouTube videos to help me learn what exactly I am looking to accomplish as well as surfing the web.
All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
I started my website store from scratch and pretty much built everything from the logo to shopping for vendors, adding products (images, descriptions and more), doing all the email and social media postings to offering personal customer service to each client. As cool as all that is – because you will learn every aspect of the business, I do find the biggest challenge I have right now is not having the capitol to advertise and do full marketing that would be helpful. So I continue to do my best and do my own marketing. To play the roll of every position can be a huge challenge and definitely time consuming. Right now I will just keep going, being consistent and do what I can to move forward. I do appreciate and am super grateful for any purchase received. I sell top quality products, because it’s important for me to offer my customers and pet parents merchandise that are going to last longer and be more on the safe side, than not.
