We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Stephanie Weber a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Stephanie, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
My optimism comes from a conscious decision to view every challenge and setback as an opportunity to learn. I truly believe that there is no such thing as “failure” in life, only lessons and opportunities for growth. Throughout my journey, I have “failed” many times, but I’ve chosen to see each failure as a stepping stone to my success – allowing me to become smarter, stronger, and more capable. Life is always happening FOR you, not TO you!
As a spiritual entrepreneur, I know that the universe has my back and is always conspiring in my favor. I also know that all forms of rejection are just a redirection to something better, and everything is always working out for me – even if it doesn’t happen exactly the way I want or expect it to.
Our thoughts are always creating and shaping our reality and at any given moment, we get to choose where we direct our attention. As the saying goes, where attention goes, energy flows! If you are constantly focusing on the negative and what could go wrong, THAT is what you will manifest in your life. But if you shift your focus to all the things that could go right and to the potential for positive outcomes, everything changes!
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My name is Stephanie Weber, and I am a sound healer, mindful meditation facilitator, reiki practitioner, yoga instructor, and holistic coach. I lead deeply restorative sound baths designed to empower my clients to rediscover their inner light and heal from the inside out. I believe that sound healing, meditation, and connection to nature can be powerful tools for self-discovery and I am committed to helping my clients explore their inner depths and uncover their true potential!
I started on my healing journey after going through a dark time in my life. I graduated from college with a degree in Marketing and went straight into the 9-5 corporate world out of school. However, it quickly became clear that it was not the right path for me. I went through a difficult period where I was very depressed and felt completely lost. I had no idea what my purpose was on this earth, but I KNEW I was meant for more than sitting in a cubicle farm doing repetitive, mind-numbing work for the rest of my life.
About 5 years ago, I had an awakening when I hit my personal rock bottom. I was extremely burnt out and it started me on my journey to find deeper meaning and connection to life. I have spent the past several years investing in myself, continuing my education, and healing both physically and mentally. I eventually left my soul-sucking corporate career to pursue my passions full-time. Since then, I have received 3 separate yoga teacher training certifications, my mindful meditation certification, my trauma-informed mindfulness certification, as well as my holistic coaching and nutrition certification. I also became a certified sound healer and founded my own soul-aligned business where I have led sound baths for thousands of people across the world – both in person and virtually!
Since starting my business, I have had the honor of leading sound bath and meditation classes for employees at renowned companies such as Salesforce, Bank of America, and TikTok. I am truly so proud of the profound impact that my work has had on the lives of my clients. I have seen firsthand how these practices have helped people to relax, reduce stress, and come back home to themselves. It is truly my greatest honor to be able to share these incredible practices with my community.
And now, I am so excited to be expanding my business! I recently launched a virtual sound healing and meditation membership where I bring together a global community of women dedicated to embracing a slower, more intentional way of living. I also offer 1:1 business mentorship for spiritual entrepreneurs, and I am planning to host regular tropical retreats where women can come together and heal through the power of reconnecting with nature, sound healing, mindfulness, and meditation.
My vision for myself is to be the person I needed most when I was in a dark place. It is my hope to leave this world a kinder, more peaceful place than when I came into it. I am deeply passionate about sharing these practices with others and helping my clients pave their own path toward happiness and healing!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are my passion, work ethic, and the ability to invest in myself and ask for help.
First and foremost, my passion for helping and serving others has been a driving force for everything that I do. Over the last few years, I have seen many entrepreneurs start businesses and burn out because their hearts weren’t truly in it. Being a business owner and building the life of your dreams is not easy. It requires you to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and evolve into a new version of yourself. Monetary rewards, fame, or external recognition won’t be enough to fuel you when times get tough. I pour my heart and soul into my work because I genuinely love what I do and I am driven by my mission to make this world a better and more peaceful place. My advice for those starting their journey is to get clear on your “why”, identify what truly sets your soul on fire, and pursue your dreams for the right reasons.
Secondly, maintaining a strong work ethic has been crucial in my journey. For those early in their journey, I recommend focusing on the first step and not the whole staircase. It’s easy to get overwhelmed when looking at all the work that is ahead of you. I also recommend scheduling your tasks into your calendar. Honor your commitments to yourself and treat your dreams with the same dedication you would give to someone else. If Oprah, your boss, or someone you respected scheduled an important meeting with you, you probably wouldn’t skip it because you were tired or just “didn’t feel like it”. When you don’t honor your own commitments, you break trust with yourself and build evidence in your mind that you are someone who does not follow through on their word. Give yourself the same respect that you would someone else. Because at the end of the day, YOU are the most important person in your own life! If your dreams are important to you, then you will make the time for them.
And last, I cannot stress the importance of working with coaches and mentors who can hold the vision for you and help you get to the next step in your journey. I know I would not be where I am today without my amazing teachers, mentors, and guides who have held and supported me as I continue to learn and grow. Whether through formal education, online courses, listening to podcasts, reading books, or investing in private mentorship, it is absolutely vital to continually invest in expanding your knowledge and skills. Find a mentor who has been where you want to go and has the life you want to live, and learn all you can from them!
Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
As a sound healer and meditation facilitator, my mission is to guide my clients on a profound journey of self-discovery to help them reconnect to their authentic selves. In the hustle of our modern world, we often become disconnected from our true selves, drowned out by the noise of responsibilities, stress, and external expectations.
My healing sessions are designed to help you relax and release the distractions of the outside world so you can begin to tune in and listen to the whispers of your heart. Through my work, I strive to create a safe and sacred space for my clients to cultivate inner peace and harmony so that they can navigate the challenges of life with more passion, authenticity, truth, and grace.
As someone who has experienced massive burnout from working a demanding corporate job and living a very fast-paced life in a big city; intentional slow living, embracing minimalism, and cultivating a deep connection with nature and the ocean have been some of the biggest catalysts for positive change and transformation in my life!
My ideal clients are millennial women who are struggling with stress, overwhelm, and burnout from working soul-sucking corporate jobs and living in a big city. She feels disconnected from herself and her intuition, and she wants to build a life that feels aligned, peaceful, and fulfilling.
She is also looking to join a community of women dedicated to embracing a slower, more intentional way of living through holistic practices like reconnecting with nature, sound healing, mindfulness, and meditation. Women who want nothing more than to uplift each other, celebrate each other’s wins, and inspire one another on our journeys!
If this sounds like you, I would love to support you on your journey!
