We recently connected with Tanna Marshall and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tanna, so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?
I’ve learned that setting healthy boundaries, practicing forgiveness and making my well-being a priority are imperative for my self-care.
I did not anticipate the events that would lead to this journey, and although they were not pleasant, I’m grateful for the experience because it has increased my confidence and therefore my effectiveness personally and professionally more than I ever imagined.
I now help other women 50 and over set healthy boundaries and take back their power so they have the confidence to put themselves first, in spite of potential pushback or negative reactions from the people in their lives.
This is why I created my signature program, Overcoming Nice Girl Syndrome, and my feminine communty, Infinite Woman – to support women as they embark on this transformational journey of self-care and self-love.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Since my high school years, I have fostered a deep connection with women that continues to resonate with me today. I attended an all-girls Catholic high school to avoid the bussing situation in Los Angeles at the time. The experience of being surrounded by female classmates, all in uniform, created a sense of comfort, inclusivity, and community. It instilled in me a profound appreciation for the power of women coming together, supporting one another, and cultivating a strong sense of belonging. This formative experience has greatly influenced my work and the importance I place on creating spaces where women can connect, uplift each other, and find that same sense of community and belonging.
During my adolescence, I was also very active in Job’s Daughters, a Masonic organization for girls. Through that experience, I gained leadership qualities, and improved my public speaking skills. I learned the importance of effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability through various roles and responsibilities with numerous opportunities to bond with other young women.
Now I am an author, intuitive, and Women’s Empowerment Coach specializing in helping busy women at mid-life prioritize themselves and reclaim their power, primarily in my signature program, Overcoming Nice Girl Syndrome, where I guide women in setting healthy boundaries, practicing forgiveness, and embracing self-care for more joy and fulfillment.
Bridging my 20-year career at Capitol Records with my innate ability to embrace my “woo-ness,” I guide women in navigating the corporate and real world with spiritual wisdom.
After being laid off in 2008, I went on to become a Certified Law of Attraction Coach, Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, experienced EFT Practitioner, and Founder of Infinite Woman—an empowering community for like-hearted women.
These days, my primary focus lies in empowering women 50 and over to cultivate self-love and embrace self-care through the practice of setting healthy boundaries, nurturing forgiveness, and prioritizing their own needs. I accomplish this through my signature program, where I provide comprehensive guidance and support.
Additionally, I foster a supportive environment within the Infinite Woman community, creating a space for women to connect, share experiences, and grow together. For those seeking personalized attention, I offer private one-on-one coaching to my high-end clients, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs and aspirations.
Witnessing the remarkable transformation and growth of my clients brings me immense joy and fulfillment. It is truly exciting to see them blossom as they reclaim their power and take bold steps towards creating the life they genuinely desire. Guiding them through this journey of self-discovery and empowerment is an honor, and I am grateful to play a part in their incredible stories of personal triumph and resilience. Together, we celebrate their achievements and embrace the endless possibilities that unfold when we prioritize self-love, set healthy boundaries, and embrace our true potential.
One aspect that particularly excites me is the introduction of the Self-Care Boundary Quiz, now available on my website, https://tannamarshall.com/ This interactive quiz serves as a powerful tool for women to assess their current level of self-care prioritization and overall well-being. By taking the quiz, they gain valuable insights into areas where they may need to enhance their self-care practices. As an added bonus, participants receive a customized tapping session recording tailored to their specific needs, providing additional support and guidance on their self-care journey. I’m thrilled to offer this valuable resource, empowering women to make positive shifts in their lives and nurture themselves on a deeper level.
Women desiring this kind of support are invited to join the private Infinite Woman Facebook group, a loving community where they can embark on their journey from Nice Girl to confident, powerful women. In this group, I provide regular live support sessions, offering guidance, inspiration, and practical tools to navigate the transformational process. It’s an empowering space to connect with like-hearted women, share experiences, and receive ongoing support on the path to embracing their authentic power. Together, we cultivate a community of Infinite Women, celebrating our growth and supporting each other every step of the way.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I’d say the three qualities that had the most significant impact on my success were self-awareness, a growth mindset and appreciating the importance of having fun. Self-awareness helped me understand my strengths, weaknesses, and values, enabling me to make aligned decisions and stay true to myself.
A growth mindset kept me curious and moving forward on my path to embrace continuous learning, seek opportunities for personal and professional development, and the ability to adapt to change.
Lastly, I believe that fun is an essential ingredient in life, and I prioritize creating joyful experiences and embracing lightheartedness in everything I do.
For those who are early in their journey, my advice is to develop self-awareness through quiet time in meditation, paying attention to inner nudges, listening to guidance from a Higher Source and seeking feedback from others. Be open to new experiences, perspectives, and knowledge to foster a growth mindset. Continuously invest in your personal and professional development, in whatever form you enjoy, whether through courses, mentorship, or networking.
And most importantly, remember that having fun along the way makes the journey that much more meaningful and enjoyable.
Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is a woman who is ready and committed to prioritizing herself, reclaiming her power, and healing the disease to please. She recognizes the importance of self-care and understands that by taking that first step to making herself a priority, she can experience true transformation and fulfillment. She is open-minded, willing to explore new possibilities, and eager to take action towards her personal growth and empowerment.
It’s always my intention is to create a fun, enjoyable experience for my clients on their path of transformation from Nice Girl to Infinite Woman. I believe that the experience can be infused with joy, laughter, and a sense of adventure. By incorporating fun into the journey of self-discovery, I like to make the process both fulfilling and enjoyable for my clients as they embrace their true power and live as the vibrant, empowered women they are meant to be.
