Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tatianna W.. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Tatianna, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?
When I find myself having creators block I look to my art for inspiration. In my spare time I enjoy painting and mixing different colors to create new. I find that painting is also very therapeutic for me and is one of my many self care rituals. Using my color techniques from my canvas to incoprorate them into what eyeshadows I use on myself or a client. The outcome is always beautiful.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back I would say my three qualities that were most impactful on my journey were my resilience, ambition and patience. In this journey of entrepreneurship, it is important to follow and appreciate your own journey. Its imperative to be grounded in who you are. To know what you stand for and what you wont allow. But to also be graceful and patient with yourself. Make sure your heart is in it, always.
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Within the past 12 months, I would say my biggest area of improvement would be my comfortability on camera. It is often mistaken that women who are in makeup industry are usually big fans of being in the spotlight or having all eyes on them. Im here to let you know that is not all the way true although that may be the case for some women. I’ve always been shy growing up and often quiet. My art/makeup would usually be my way of expressing myself. I loved to be behind the scenes of masterpieces. To be the one who makes it all happen. Fast forward to now, all of the content I post consist of everyday makeup tutorials on myself and clients. My confidence on camera has heightened within the past few months and I can honestly say I surprise myself every time. It’s true what they say, practice makes perfect.
