Meet Tatiyana Elias

We were lucky to catch up with Tatiyana Elias recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tatiyana, so happy to have you with us today and there is so much we want to ask you about. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others developed certain skills or qualities that we are struggling with can be helpful. Along those lines, we’d love to hear from you about how you developed your ability to take risk?
Embracing risk became my pathway to the extraordinary life and profound success I envisioned since youth. When pursuing ambitious goals, daring to think beyond conventional norms and taking unconventional actions becomes not just essential but liberating. Challenging the status quo, despite the perceived risks, is the only way to fortify the resilience needed to navigate the journey of taking risks and achieving greatness.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
With an illustrious 9-year career as a celebrity makeup artist, I’ve worked on celebrities, TV shows, commercials, and renowned brands, showcasing my work on diverse platforms, from television to malls and billboards. The joy I observed in people post-glam transformation ignited my career, propelling me to craft an artistic journey dedicated to spreading happiness.

As the years unfolded, my desire to help others led me to establish a nonprofit, Mothers in Unity, focused on aiding single mothers and children in shelters. Raised by a single mother, I intimately grasped the challenges endured by these families. Fueled by a passion for bringing smiles, Mothers in Unity has touched the lives of over 129 women and 404 children in shelters, embodying my commitment to making a meaningful difference.

In a continuous pursuit of uplifting others, I wrote a book called “The Positive Process,” designed to elevate mindsets through affirmations targeting specific chakras in the body. This latest endeavor reflects my dedication to motivating and positively transforming lives on a broader scale.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The three qualities that profoundly influenced my journey were receptivity to advice, maintaining an attentive ear for clients, and embodying a blend of humility and confidence.

For those embarking on their journey, the key advice is to remain committed to continuous learning, unwavering self-belief in the face of challenges, and avoiding the comparison of your life path with others. Embrace the process, trust in your capabilities, and stay true to your unique path.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m constantly seeking collaborations with talented photographers, hairstylists, and models. Connect with me through my website at www.tatiyana.com, drop an email at [email protected], or find me on Instagram @tatiyanaelias.
