We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tiago Sampaio de Oliveira a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Tiago, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethic it is pretty much related with personal experiences . I tried as much as possible to work with our patients and collaborators the way that I would like to be treated .
I also have a group of professionals that I admire and appreciate their conduct.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I started my career extremely young and have been performing and teaching permanent makeup such as Micropigmentation for many years, I also hold a degree in biomedical engineering which gives me more expertise about anatomy and etc. In 2023 I accomplished more than 2500 procedures. My main studio is now in Miami but I see clients in Boston and Los Angeles. The most special quality about my brand is that I always try to give my clients an experience, but not only that, with my knowledge I have been able to educate them, and education is power. My brand has always been a boutique, more intimist which makes my clients feel even more welcome and taken care.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The 3 more important qualities for me are: Work Ethic, Amazing Costumer Service and Flexibility providing a service. The best advice I would give is, acquire enough knowledge and be secure of your craft to educate your clients. When you are an expert on your work you will always be credible to people.
How would you describe your ideal client?
The ideal client is not just a one-time transaction but represents a source of long-term value for the business. This could involve repeat business, loyalty, and potentially referrals to other clients.
