Meet Tiffany Rowe

We were lucky to catch up with Tiffany Rowe recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Tiffany with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I would say my mom instilled a strong work ethic in me, I definitely inherited her values and beliefs in this area. I was raised by a single mom, and I don’t know anyone that works harder than single moms. She inspired me and her example was very impactful in my life. I believe a strong work ethic is characterized by many different qualities. Some examples I think are important include someone who is reliable, motivated, trustworthy, dedicated and a self-starter. You also need a commitment to personal growth and a strong sense of accountability, not to mention a willingness to take on additional responsibilities and work longer hours when needed. Having a strong work ethic requires being productive and committed to going above and beyond to achieve your goals and contribute to the success of your company.

I also believe that doing something that you enjoy will naturally enhance your work ethic. Feeling fulfilled by your work, improving your skills and abilities, and receiving recognition for your efforts can also contribute to a strong work ethic. I have always believed you should find a way to earn money doing something you love and are passionate about. When you do this, you set yourself up for success.

Thanks, tell me about your business and upcoming projects?
What I love most about our company is that you get to give the same products all new parents need but packaged in a fun and exciting way. All our Kakes are made with useable ingredients. Simply pull apart your piece of art to reveal diapers, blankets, washcloths, stuffed animals, bibs, books, socks and more! You get to enjoy the speed and convenience of a registry while giving a thoughtful, personalized, gift to welcome a new baby. Cheeky Kakes are handmade and carefully curated with lots of love and your favorite brands.

From classic & simple to super extravagant, we have transformed baby necessities with our adorable Kakes and creations. We are here to help people who don’t know what to buy, don’t have time to look or are stressed and confused about gift giving. We are also here for those last-minute shoppers that want to give something impactful even though they waited until the last minute to make a purchase. Let’s not forget all our over-the-top, go EXTRA gifters, we gotchu too! Our clients love us because we do all the work for them, turning them into great gifters in minutes. With our attention to detail, on trend style & unique presentation Cheeky kakes are sure to create an unforgettable memory for the parents to be.

We have a magical retail location in Studio City, where you can come in and grab something from one of our Cheeky Collections or have something custom made for your shower, nursery, or event. We get super crazy and if you can dream it, we can make it! Building the custom kakes are my personal favorite. I love to get creative and let my imagination run wild when coming up with new, over the top designs. Our most memorable kakes include look-a-like cars, haunted houses and even a Birkin bag out of swaddle blankets and diapers!

Our kakes are guaranteed to create a lasting impression for the gift giver and receiver because gifting a Cheeky Kake is just as fun as receiving it.

We are super happy to announce our new website will be launching in the next few months. Our site will allow you to customize and purchase your kakes with just a few clicks, making it even easier to gift a Cheeky Kake! The site will showcase our Mini, Signature and Luxury Collections. Customers will have over 50 styles to choose from, not including our custom creations. We are thrilled to have recently partnered with the Diaper Company Hello Bello; their diapers are plant based & made with renewable energy not to mention they have the cutest patterns. Stay tuned for some exciting Hello Bello X Cheeky collabs coming out in 2024, we can’t wait to share them with you.

We have been so fortunate to work with so many big brands from Netflix to Live Nation, and we have made Kakes for tons of celebrities, athletes, and reality stars from Rihanna to Hailee Steinfeld. Now we’re bringing our Cheeky Collections to everyone!

Each of our Kakes represents a tiny human we have helped welcome to the planet, I love being a part of that story, especially seeing pictures of our clients’ babies as they grow!

Spreading smiles and celebrating life is the best feeling. The icing on the Kake is seeing the excitement and joy that Cheeky Kakes brings into people’s lives. I could never have imagined I would be making diaper cakes cool, but Cheeky Kakes is doing just that. These Kakes are definitely giving… BIG GIFT ENERGY!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Having perseverance, problem solving skills, and the ability to adapt are a must no matter what phase of life you are in. I would say perseverance is an especially big one for me. I am proud of my ability to keep going despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles, or failures. Having the mindset to continue pursuing your goals even when things get tough and when you have a business, they sure can get tough! Possessing perseverance, allows you to overcome obstacles that would likely defeat others. If you’re looking to develop your own perseverance, here are some things that you can do to help yourself. Set goals for yourself and work towards them consistently, have a positive attitude, have extreme determination, a willingness to learn from your mistakes and make changes when necessary. With these strategies I believe you can develop the perseverance to achieve your dreams.

My ability to problem solve is another important skill that has helped me along the way. Problem solving is an essential skill in all aspects of life and in business, it’s an absolute must. As a business owner and entrepreneur, you are bombarded with problems daily. There is always something that comes up and you want to figure out the problem and fix it quickly. This involves clearly defining the issue, generating possible solutions and selecting the best one. If that one doesn’t work, try something else till you find the best fix. Problem solving requires strong communication skills, collaboration, and critical thinking. Using these skills, no problem is too big to solve.

Adaptability is another critical skill that has helped me on my journey. Being adaptable as a business owner means you are able to pivot your strategies, products, and services to meet the evolving needs of your customers and stay ahead of the competition. This means being open to new ideas and approaches and willing to take calculated risks in order to stay relevant and successful. Ultimately, being adaptable is not just about reacting to change, but about proactively anticipating and planning for it. By developing a mindset of adaptability, you can position yourself for long-term success in the face of uncertainty and change.

To cultivate adaptability, it’s important to stay informed about industry trends and developments, as well as to seek out feedback from customers and employees. It’s so important to be willing to experiment and try new things, while also being able to learn from mistakes and quickly move on. This can mean the difference between thriving and failing.
