Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tk Art. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Tk with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
My strong work ethic is deeply rooted in the values instilled by my parents. I am blessed to have two parents who made significant sacrifices, empowering not just me but also my older brother to pursue success in our lives. They consistently strove for progress, working tirelessly to provide their children with every possible advantage. Being able to constantly see their dedication throughout my upbringing infused in me a strong work ethic and a profound understanding of how to persevere, strive, and always move forward towards my goals, regardless of the obstacles.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Digital and graphic art is my forte, where I employ my skills in painting, drawing, editing, and more, using only my computer. Over the years, I have dove into the realm of digital art, enjoying the constant journey of improvement and betterment of my craft. In the ever changing world of graphic art, new things are always popping up to elevate the digital art-making process. I try to always keep an eye out for these changes, all the while making sure I stay true to my own unique digital creativity. Drawing inspiration from things like music, family, and culture, all which consistently fuel my creative work. I do my best to flow with the changing landscape, which is something I had to learn how to embrace and enjoy as a digital creative.
Discovering and using my unique niche within the art world is an ongoing task. Merely being a digital creative is no longer sufficient; one must also carve out a distinctive identity within the art realm as a whole to stand apart. Personally, this journey has presented challenges. Learning to navigate how to define my artistic style and transform my work into a success at the level I aspire to achieve. It has been a gradual progression, and despite the ups and downs I have gained valuable insights into my own capabilities and the potential of the work I create.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back three qualities I had to learn was, being patient in what I am doing, understand things are always going to change, and understand the business you are getting into. These are three qualities I had to learn quick, Being a freelancer/entrepreneur is a marathon and something that for most takes time to see real success. Managing frustration when you are not seeing quick success is very important. Also knowing how to navigate your journey, understanding how your industry works, and learning who is successful in the industry you’re in are all things that can be beneficial in your journey.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I am always open to collab with people. Collaborating is fun and gives you a chance to work with new people. When I collaborate I like working with people who are serious about what they do, enjoy what they do, and are professional. Being able to work with someone can be beneficial in expanding your own brand, knowledge and also meet potential new clients. I can be reached on my Instagram or via my website if anyone is interested in collaborating.
