Meet Tracy Beauchamp

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tracy Beauchamp. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tracy below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Tracy with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I get my work ethic from my family! We weren’t the richest family but we never went without! I saw my mom and my aunt go to work everyday and make it happen! I’m a single mother and I make sure my daughter has everything she needs! I work morning, noon and night to ensure if something happened to me my daughter would be taken care of! Rain, sleet or snow I get up and work because we never know when that day may come when we can’t anymore.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
My name is Tracy Beauchamp, I’m a 44 year old mother of a 12 year old daughter. I’m from Baton Rouge, Louisiana where I graduated from McKinley Sr. High and Southern University A&M College both with honors. I taught special education for 13 years before I opened Blessed Hands Floral Design. Yard carding is my safe space and what I mean by that is I can let my heart lead me and not worry about anything else. I create everlasting memories for families and loved ones and that brings me joy! I’ve created birthday, anniversary, baby shower and back to school you name it and I’ve probably made a sign for it lol. There’s one sign in particular that stays embedded in my heart and it was a golden anniversary for someone who didn’t have long to live. She was able to see my sign and passed away the very next day. I was told just how much joy it brought her before she transitioned and this is why I put my all into every sign.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
What has been most impactful on this journey is me keeping my faith. There will be good days and there will be bad days but on those bad days you can’t let them get the best of you. Some days you will be at the top of your game others you may not make any money at all. But you can’t let that stop you from giving it your all. I’ve seen people come into this business thinking they were going to make a quick buck. But soon found out it wasn’t as easy as they thought. We have to put in time and most of all the work. Patience, dedication and determination will get you through the your journey!

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
The person who has been most helpful in everything is GOD! Without him none of this would be possible. My gift, knowledge, skills and qualities all came from him. He chose me to possess those qualities. He could have given them to anyone else but he chose me! I will continue to represent him in accordance to his wishes.
