We recently connected with Ty Graham and have shared our conversation below.
Ty , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
– Developed and maintain healthy relationships – Stepping outside of my comfort zone
– Giving myself credit when it’s due
– Setting short and long-term goals
– Visualizing success
– Increasing self-care
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
Cape Fear Boil Company offers customizable Lowcountry-style boils featuring shrimp, crab, andouille sausage, corn, potatoes and more in to-go pots and/or for catered events and in-home feasts. To make the meals even better, boils are served with a side of entertaining repartee from our catering crew and restaurant staff.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork/collaboration. Practice them!
Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?
The Alchemist’ by Paulo Coelho. The book emphasises the values of hope, spirituality, faith and love through symbolic narration of a fascinating story of an ordinary boy with extra-ordinary beliefs. Positiveness can be seen everywhere in the book.
