I’ve overcome by changing habits ,first is therapy super helpful! Most importantly just staying positive and making sure my support system was solid. Then there’s boundaries! Set those boundaries…NONE NEGOTIABLE to not allow anything make you feel away!

I’m Vee 35 yr old mother of 5. Four girls and my oldest is my son. Originally from Greenville ,MS, currently reside in Riverdale ,GA. I work a. 9-5 in insurance and 5-9 on my businesses. I enjoy family time, and creating memories.
I have four girls so the girly mom i am, the girls always want a party n love love girls night …so something that started off with just family events and wanting to provide more logical price to assist with others having the ability to provide those special moments are soo gratifying ‼️ ‘
2021 I started balloon decor for a reception and a local event planner ,planted a seed “Vee you did a great job, I always need balloon decor !”. Maybe a week later I was booked for my first event . That year alone I made over the reporting as a hobbyist and 2022 I created COOKED UP CREATIONZ LLC. Officially.
I specialize in balloon decor and custom foam board marquee builds. By customer demand I also provide intimate decor settings and partnered with some amazing business owners, able to provide an array of add ons from : venues,360,uplighting, tables,chairs,host,bartenders and so much more. Elevating special moments ,events , and of course photos of the most memorable and intimate moments!

I find my crafting and balloon styling very therapeutic ,and I absolutely love it. I enjoy networking events and meeting like minded individuals and being apart of those special moments from, surprise setups, grand openings, birthday parties, networking and community events and more . Best sellers are my balloon garlands and custom marquee builds,numbers,letterd and or custom shapes that can be filled with balloons or LED..
Recently nominated for Boss Babes Entrepreneur of the year, super excited about that. Think BET awards but for businesses! The weekend experience is April 26-28 and Sunday 28th the winner will be announced . August 3rd , 1-5pm we will be hosting and apart of a back to school give back . Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Impactful was when I began to be intentional, planning things out, becoming more organized, and making realistic goals to step outside of my comfort zone. When I did that it’s like EVERYTHING began to flourish from me from personal life, my career and business. I advise anyone to set those boundaries, be intentional and set realistic goals, and life does be lifing so wen hit with a curve ball ….it’s ok to go back to the drawing board . Reset and start as many times as you need just don’t give up! Do your research, create that support system to help with those questions and sense of direction you need to get things done. You got this , don’t track your progress based on that of others.

Local schools, families and communities. A mom of four girls. Schools simply because that will keep the girls engaged as well rather they are apart of the event or enjoy being a paid employee. You know they are always ready to spend our money, so why not let them make their own . Allowing them to see me in my element and running and handling business.. Celebrating starting up and simply marking of specials occasions and events!
