Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Vicki Rodriguez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Vicki, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
I develop my confidence and self-esteem by reminding myself who I am, What I can become, and the people that I can and have inspired on a daily basis. I also remind myself how far I’ve came along, and the person that I am still working on becoming for the future.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am a Content Creator/influencer from Texas. I love to travel, and see new places, attend special events through my influencing life. I love that I get to meet new people. I love when I get to make new business partners, and the best part is being able to experience everything with my family who are my 4 children and husband. We started creating content through YouTube about six years ago and now I am growing my platform on Instagram going on three years. Every year. I feel like I am learning more about what I do, I love growing as a person and learning new things. I have been contracted by one of the biggest companies, for example H-E-B, Walgreens and others. my passion is to keep on growing and to continue to influence mothers, and young women to become anyone the have dreamed of becoming.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Following other content creators that are under my niche has helped me learn how to create my content and grow my platform. I think the best thing to do if you want to become a Content creator or influencer would be just go for it, use whatever you have in hand, you don’t have to go and spend thousands of dollars on gadgets or electronics when in reality all you have to use is the things that you already have. If I knew this a long time ago, I would ve done this 10-15 years ago. But the biggest thing besides that Is just doing it and going for it, don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and create content that honestly when you look back at your work, you realize “Wow I did that” It’s a pretty neat thing to see.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
When I look back to 12 months ago, and I look at what I have accomplished, I realize that I have grown a lot when it comes up to partnering up with companies, before I started actually getting paid for collaboration or partnerships I was doing gifted collaborations, now, I started doing nothing but paid collaborations where I get the item and I also get paid for the content that I create. Looking back at that I’m proud of so many achievements because I have been contracted by big companies and 12 months ago I didn’t see that coming so because of that I actually look at myself in 12 months now doing and to me that’s a big deal and it’s a big improvement in my growth.
