Victoria , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Finding my purpose was a journey that began about a year ago when I had a vision to bring a European style to Austin, Texas. Being someone who has always been cautious of the sun and the impact it has on my skin, I wanted to create something fashionable that also offered protection. This is how Sueiroco was born. Sueiroco represents a defiant manifesto of confident individuality, sensuality, simplicity, and elegance for everyone. It challenges and contradicts the prevailing status quo and contemporary fashion trends in America, embracing a timeless, minimalist, and international approach. It transcends borders, challenges, and time itself, celebrating values such as courage, passion, simplicity, flexibility, inclusion, sobriety, functionality, and freedom of movement in a society hungry for modernity. It symbolizes the triumph of the avant-garde, vanguard thinking, alternative styles, classics, purity of form and function, and the exquisite taste of life, enhancing the radiance and sex appeal of its wearers. Sueiroco is a statement.
To bring my vision to life, I assembled a Fashion Team in Colombia, and Sueiroco had the opportunity to be showcased at Austin Fashion Week. Through this experience, I had the privilege of meeting numerous creative individuals who shared my passion.
However, it all came crashing down when I faced challenges like losing pictures and not having enough product. This experience gave me a profound understanding of the struggles that designers face on a daily basis. It was a heartbreaking period, and I vowed to ensure that no creative designer would have to endure what I went through.
That’s when the Monthlygalsday community was born. I never wanted any designer to feel lost or hopeless when it came to showcasing their art. Monthlygalsday focuses on bringing together women creators in Austin to build connections and relationships. This event provides a platform for women to connect, share ideas, and create new opportunities. Activities like taking photos and capturing moments foster creativity and collaboration among participants.
Monthlygalsday places a high value on building connections and relationships, aiming to create a supportive community where women can thrive in their personal and professional lives by connecting with various communities such as female influencers, models, photographers, designers, and more. The goal is to promote and uplift women in the creative industry.
Through Monthlygalsday, we connect with creators and enjoy the power of connection. Our targeted audience and consumers are female influencers, models, photographers, designers, and other creative individuals. This not only helps the brands that participate but also strengthens the community itself.
I have found my purpose in helping others bring their visions to life and alleviating the stress they may face in pursuing what makes them happy. Witnessing people connect and support each other warms my heart and brings me immense happiness.

I am the founder of the Monthly Gals Day (MGD) Community, a platform focused on bringing women creators in Austin together to build connections and relationships. Our goal is to create a supportive community where women can thrive both personally and professionally by connecting with various creative industries, including female influencers, models, photographers, designers, and more. We aim to promote and uplift women in the creative industry, offering them opportunities to showcase their art and collaborate with other like-minded individuals.
One of the most exciting aspects of Monthly Gals Day is witnessing the power of connection and support among the participants. Seeing women come together, share ideas, and create new opportunities is incredibly fulfilling. The activities we organize during our events, such as capturing moments through photography, foster creativity and collaboration, enhancing the overall experience for everyone involved.
At Monthly Gals Day, we go beyond simply hosting events. We also focus on supporting small businesses and collaborating with women’s organizations. Our efforts extend to supporting various causes that align with our values, making our community not only a platform for creativity but also a force for positive change.
For me, the most fulfilling aspect of running Monthly Gals Day is helping designers bring their visions to life and alleviating any feelings of hopelessness they may encounter along the way. The joy of witnessing people connect and support each other is unparalleled and serves as a driving force behind our mission.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on my journey with Monthly Gals Day, I believe there were three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful:
Passion and Purpose: The first and most essential quality that played a crucial role in my journey was passion. I had a deep passion for connecting with others, supporting small businesses, and promoting women in the creative industry. This passion gave me the drive to keep going, even during challenging times. Along with passion came purpose. Understanding my purpose in helping designers bring their visions to life and creating a supportive community was the foundation of Monthly Gals Day’s success. My advice to those starting their journey is to identify what truly ignites their passion and align it with a purpose that can positively impact others.
Networking and Relationship Building: Building connections and relationships have been instrumental in the growth of Monthly Gals Day. Networking with fellow creators, designers, influencers, and business owners not only expanded our community but also opened doors to new opportunities. My advice to those starting their journey is to actively engage in networking events, attend industry gatherings, and use social media to connect with like-minded individuals. Nurture these relationships genuinely and authentically, as they can lead to collaborations and partnerships that enrich your business.
Event Management and Organizational Skills: Hosting events like Monthly Gals Day requires strong event management and organizational skills. From planning to execution, every detail matters, and being organized is crucial to ensure a successful and smooth event. Developing these skills early on will not only make your events more impactful but also enhance your overall business operations.
