Meet Victoria Williams

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Victoria Williams a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Victoria, you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?
My generosity comes from a long line of generous people in my family. We believe in helping overs. I’ve have watch my great uncle give to watching my mom give. And I find myself doing the same.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a lover of all things travel and A lover of all things event planning and balloon design
A very strong lover of men and women’s empowerment of all ages
I am just your gentle reminder that self-care is a major key to your life

I am in the beginning stages of starting a podcast that will help jump start the day with some positive words that the listener will be able to think on throughout your day.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities are determined , hard working and resilience. These three have been so impactful to my journey. They all have gotten stronger with time. Whenever I put my mind to something whether is a new balloon design or a conference, it’s going to happen.

The biggest advice I would give is keep learning. You must invest in your self and in your craft. Everyday and new lesson is learned or a new skill is developed. When you learn you evolve as a person and in your craft.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing my parents have done for me was pray for me. I know it’s super cliché but it’s so important. And the prayer that they prayed over me as a child and even now as an adult have carried me.
