14hunnitvon, thrilled to have you on the platform as I think our readers can really benefit from your insights and experiences. In particular, we’d love to hear about how you think about burnout, avoiding or overcoming burnout, etc.
as a creative it is essential to RECOUP. im kind of in a burn out period right now that im slowly getting back out of, and the way i think i got into this head space is by working hard and not allowing myself to relax or set time aside specifically for giving my mind and body time to chill. the BEST advice i can give you is, treat yourself well. u cant be the best you artistically if you’ve been killing yourself at a computer all week slamming energy drinks, u gotta go outside and get inspired again you got to live to be creative u cant make anything different if u haven’t seen or experienced anything different you know? and also you have to be in the right spot internally Aswell like, drinking water, meditating, praying, sleeping the appropriate amount of hours for you, eating foods that give you energy and replenish you. those are some things that should help out.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m a Artist That Records and engineers himself in your fav local rapper living room near you from Minneapolis Minnesota, I’m a experience. from my music to my garments to my interactions with individuals lowkey want to be the black Justin Bieber one day to Put on. I DROPPED MY FIRST PROJECT “I CANT STAND HIM” its a collab Ep between me and “brokeboitaylor” the sound if very different from songs like Luck! and what I’ve been dropping. Eminem With with iayze (Jace!) also dropped too but this my year so please just keep watching.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Taylor is someone I’ve wanted to do a collab tape with I always seen myself doing one with a prod and Taylor is someone who’s beats are so hard and different. the time I recorded it I didn’t even know what I wanted to do sound wise, I was very lost even in my personal life but his beats allowed me to not think at all and be present in the moment. I had to let my mind experience something else and kinda learn what I wanted to do and not what I thought others wanted or made sense.
How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?
my mind. everyday of my life I’ve been trying just to figure myself out and learn. I had a sense of self at a very young age so I would come of as a “hard headed smart mouthed bad ass kid” but I didn’t view a adult as an adult, someone older then me or a authority figure but I judged them off of actions and morals for example if I didn’t like a teacher it was because when they tried to express things to me it was never communicated properly and was aggressive or interactions with other students. or even the fact I’ve never had a real healthy relationships growing up because I had them with the wrong people and that caused me to ruin ones with people I do love, its actually happened to me recently. so I’m constantly on myself trying to figure out, what I did wrong, what can I do better, how did I make them feel, why did I make them feel that way, why couldn’t I just have done better, and it weighs very heavy i think about everyone I’ve hurt everyday.
