My journey as an entrepreneur and an individual who has confronted profound mental health challenges and a turbulent past is a testament to the enduring strength of the human spirit. It is often said that the most vibrant flowers flourish in the harshest of conditions, and I stand as living proof of that adage.
In my life, I have encountered significant trials, from navigating mental health hurdles to confronting the unimaginable threat posed by my undiagnosed schizophrenic and bipolar mother. The resilience I have displayed in these trying circumstances is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
In the bleakest moments of my life, I discovered an inner light that propelled me forward, allowing me to pursue my entrepreneurial aspirations and transcend the formidable obstacles that life presented. This resilience, forged in the crucible of these challenging experiences, has served as the foundation upon which I’ve built my successes and cultivated a life of profound value.
My story is a beacon of hope for those who may be grappling with their own demons, illustrating that no matter how profound the darkness may seem, there exists an innate spark of resilience within all of us, waiting to be kindled. My journey is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Born in the United States Virgin Islands, my life’s path has been marked by profound challenges and remarkable blessings.
Surviving the scars and trauma of my mother’s mental illness, including her attempts to end my life, served as the backdrop to my story. I am the mother of four wonderful children, and their presence in my life is a true blessing. Despite being an only child and facing adversity, I’ve defied the odds and lived life to its fullest.
My educational journey, culminating in a degree in computers and fashion from the National Education Center for the Arts, was a vital stepping stone. I’m a lifelong learner, continually investing in education to become an expert in the value I wish to share with others.
My story required soul-searching, unwavering determination, and hard work, all grounded in a belief that I have a God-given purpose to fulfill. My upbringing, with separate parents dealing with their emotional challenges, was shaped by the unwavering faith instilled in me by my maternal grandmother, Delia Simmonds, and the guidance of my paternal uncle, Samuel H. Hall Jr., an attorney.
A challenging divorce propelled me into the world of e-commerce. As I sold clothes online, my social media presence grew, leading to the creation of “Let’s Journey into Fashion.” This venture eventually caught the attention of Amazon, opening doors to incredible opportunities.
Seeing the success I achieved, I couldn’t help but share it with others. My passion for helping people win led me to launch additional online stores on Amazon, even gifting my daughter her own store. While “Let’s Journey into Fashion” took a brief hiatus, it’s poised for a grand relaunch.
My purpose-driven life revolves around engaging with and assisting others, particularly in the realm of mental health advocacy. My journey, as both an entrepreneur and someone who has faced profound mental health challenges, has prepared me to guide individuals in their quest for a successful life.
Today, I’m the CEO of B.O.S.S. Amazon Class, leveraging my expertise to help others unlock their earning potential. My focus is to empower individuals to take control of their financial destinies, care for their families, and attain a life of choices and freedom.
Though my journey has been far from smooth, I’m grateful for the trials and tribulations, as they have forged the strong woman I am today.
