We recently connected with Yauseaffe Hunt and have shared our conversation below.
Yauseaffe, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
My work ethics comes from wanting more. I have a lot goals that I want to accomplish for myself. I’m am not worried about what the next person doing. I want to live the life I dreamed about. I learned focusing on my own lane has helped me stay committed to my passion. My motto is step by step, brick by brick. I’m always focused on building and improvement. I prioritize growing each step in passion now that the foundation is laid.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I live sleep, breathe, and think about music. Its always natural. The most exciting part is having fun with the crowd. Its always amazing when you feel the energy of the crowd. Its always shocking to me still when people love my work. I’m forever appreciative. Lately, I have been working hard to expand my brand worldwide. YouTube has become an essential part of my business. I have been uploading mix videos to give future fans of my work a insight listen to some of my DJ set. Also, its fun creating new blends and mixes. Stay tuned. I have some major other things coming down the pipeline next. I’m focused on reaching more people, building, and networking. Not only that but, I want to be able to help others as well.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
There are various of challenges that you will face when it comes to the process. Resilience, learning, and networking are impactful factors that I have faced personally. Its all about taking the necessary steps to get where you need to go. DJ’ing is a life long journey that require learning. If you are not learning , you are not growing. There is always something new that you can learn . Along with the other qualities I believe that networking is very important. Overall, you have to keep improving yourself and business despite the obstacles you may face. You have to keep going.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always willing to work with other creatives and do some collabs. Collaborating is a two way street whether you are a artist, videographer, photographer, graphic designer, or etc. When you collaborate it potentially builds clientele, brand marketing, and networking skills that can be applied to your business. You also have the chance to build a team of people who support and may be a great resource. Lastly, your helping each other grow. That is what its all about!
