Meet Zach Rohe

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Zach Rohe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Zach, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My mother was the strongest person I’ve ever known and was a great role model. She overcame multiple physical limitations when no one thought she ever could.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m a professional photographer from Baltimore, MD but now based in Sedona, AZ. I travel all over the country to capture images of the landscape and for destination weddings and portrait shoots.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The most important skills are to believe in yourself, work harder than everyone else, and never give up. My business only started succeeding when I went “all in” and put my hear and sould into the business completely.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
Learning how to run a business as opposed to just being a photographer who takes great photos.
