Nicole Roach shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Walking in the woods with my dogs always makes me find myself again and lose track of time.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
After ten years teaching fitness at every level and exploring the new-age and self-help worlds, I’ve entered a new chapter. My brand has a clearer message now — one of hope and unity. When choosing a path, choose the narrow path. For me that path invites God and Jesus Christ into my practice. I no longer seek guidance from spirit guides, my “higher self,” or disembodied spirits. I finally have the answers I was searching for, and my work — and my brand — will reflect that truth.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
What breaks the bond between people is pain. What restores it is repentance and forgiveness. At the end of the day, we all long for the same things, love, connection, and belonging. When we truly love someone, leaving them is the last thing we want. Yet pain drives us apart, and pain fuels anger. But remorse extends the olive branch, and forgiveness is what brings us back together.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Every time I’m about to do something meaningful, doubtful, or something that makes me vulnerable. I wanna give up. I’m plugged with thoughts of doubt and ruminating on lack of worthiness. I often ask myself, “ why me?.”

But what I’ve learned is the louder the doubt is generally means I’m on the right path. The more abrasive the ruminating thoughts are, means I have Potential to make a big impact.

I learned, if your light wasn’t bright, the darkness wouldn’t seek you.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
In my lifetime, I have read many books. I have listened to many lectures. I have received many certificates and a degree from a university. The biggest lie the health and wellness industry tells you is that you alone are the creator. That the world reflects you. Then everyone is a character in your play.

The best lie has some truth and there is some truth in this lie. We are creators but because God has given us the authority to create. And that God is our silent partner in creating and when we welcome that into our creation, the world opens up and your eyes become unveiled.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
Someone once said people only remember how you make them feel in the end. So I hope I’m remembered by how I made people feel inspired, empowered, and loved.
