Peter, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are pretty consistent. I wake up after a night of tossing and turning thinking about what I could have done better yesterday and what I am going to do better today and tomorrow. Then I get up, hug my wife and thank her for my shot of Cuban coffee that she makes for me every morning. I then take a shower and immediately head to my Cold Plunge for a 4 minute plunge into 50 degree water. I then get dressed and have my protein power shake and head to my office or meetings!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Peter Guzman is the President and CEO of the Latin Chamber of Commerce of Nevada (LCC), a role he has held since 2015.
As a seasoned real estate broker, small business owner, and investor, Guzman has guided the LCC through significant growth — including expanding its membership into construction, gaming, banking, and more.
Under his leadership, the Chamber has deepened its political engagement, advocating for small-business issues, and launched meaningful community programs like a charter school partnership and business-accelerator initiatives.
Beyond business, Guzman is active on numerous boards — including the Public Education Foundation, which he chairs — and is recognized for his dedication to educational equity, economic empowerment, and strengthening Nevada’s Latino business community.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
That was definitely my hero, my best friend and my father. He was the greatest man I have ever known. I saw things in me, that I just hadn’t recognized yet. I am grateful for his arms being wrapped around me and never letting go!
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?

I think my closest friends and the world knows what really matters to me and that is FAMILY. It is what drives me, what inspires me and what my reason for everything is.

I hope the story people tell about me when I am gone is that Peter Guzman was a family man, a loyal friend and a man who kept his word.
