We’re looking forward to introducing you to Phantom Phil Warder. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Phil, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I am walking a path. While the long term is in front of me the short term yet feels distant. So I am wandering in a way to connect with the bigger path. It’s all about those short term steps and how to pull it together.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is ‘Phantom’ Phil Warder.
I host the Unexplained Inc. podcast. It is the podcast where the unknown connects with the empowered. It started out primarily as a paranormal podcast and has evolved to where the unexplained and the spiritual collide. The audience is affectionately referred to as the True Believers. The show has been making True Believers since 2020. It is available on all audio platforms, through www.unexplainedinc.com and video episodes on Rumble. More platforms coming in the future…
Here is how the show is broken down:
One on one or panel guest interviews from paranormal investigators, UFO experiencers, psychics, healers…etc.
The Consciousness Cafe: An informal interview with a guest to talk about things outside of the show’s regular paradigm
Solo episodes including:
The Great Escape – a chapter by chapter story of things helping me on my spiritual journey and will hopefully help you!
The Astral Report – Trying to astral project to famous unexplained cases throughout history….for entertainment purposes only
Shadow Sermons – The shadow side of myself…Phantom Phil Fortune exposes some dark truths about the world.
I am also building my own healing / coaching practice slowly while planning to eventually start an annual conference for the podcast itself.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
There have been several but I’ll only break down a couple of major ones here.
In September 2013 I have my first ever reiki (energy healing session) as a client. It was a life altering experience that healed me on a number of levels and made me a believer of the forces of the non-physical. I felt lighter and many trappings of anger and resentment were all gone. I was never the same after that day.
Also in spring of 2019 I had been down many truther rabbit holes and had many paradigm shifting experiences of how I look at and perceive the world. I then found core shamanism and discovered a local practitioner. This deepened my connection to the non-physical / spirit world and has been a helpful compass ever since.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering has taught me many things. We are all experiencing different levels of suffering / traumas and comparing them is futile. What may not be traumatic to someone can be catastrophic to someone else. We are all healing and remembering on this journey at our own pace, not anyone else’s.
When I’ve suffered at my own hand or through someone else I’ve learned that it isn’t always my fault. There is no use beating myself up when I am suffering in submission to happenstance as the choice that was made was based on this. I acted from the information that was available to me. Suffering can also teach / increase resilience and give you more of a fight to dig deeper to get to where you want to go. Immense lessons come from suffering as well that you may never fully learn from constant success.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
What you see is mainly what you get. A lot of content creators out there may gain a large following. Maybe even go ‘viral’ but I can see a lot of pretension in their presentation. Don’t get me wrong maybe authentic people have made a name for themselves, but some are playing a character. Some of the best art is made when the artist stays true to who they are. Warts and all. Thankfully I seem to win over guests most of the time and the True Believers are fairly accepting of what I am and what I bring to the table. A few aren’t and that is okay as you can’t please everyone. Even my ‘shadow’ persona Phantom Phil Fortune is integrated with you I am. We all carry a dark passenger the question is are we able to tame it?
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If immortality were real, what would you build?
The trick answer to this is that immortality is real on a soul level. Our bodies die and decompose but our eternal spirit will live on forever. Not on this Earth likely but in another dimension beyond this conscious plane. I’m a big believer that our souls choose to come back into another lifetime to learn lessons or to teach others voluntarily. Once on the other side of the veil of death…unless we committed atrocities we will get the choice on whether to come back to the Earth school or not. Whether I am here in life or after death I just want to be known as someone who left this planet a little bit better than they found it. So I would build a legacy where my work and presence will live on. I’m only in my early 40’s but feel I’m just getting started. I also have a child ready to get out into the world and may build upon whatever legacy I leave behind.
