Good morning Roman, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What is a normal day like for you right now?
I currently work at 4 different schools with my Victorious Program, a basketball coach for 2 High Schools, workout or play basketball daily and father of 2 & husband.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Roman Perez. Founder of the Victorious program and Dudo Baez foundation. Working with youth on and off the court for me is so important, just guiding and being an example to me is a true blessing.

The Victorious program is a self empowerment learning class for students and the Dudo Baez foundation is a basketball academy that presents tournaments, camps and clinics.

I’m a 18yr professional basketball player. I’ve play so far in Europe, latin american and usa.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was a kid dreaming to become someone in this world. Stayed ready for the moment to arrive by being patient and disciplined to my craft.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I never had a moment of giving up. No matter how many times i failed, i used it as motivation to keep going.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say that staying focused was what mattered the most to me, in the mist of my trials and tribulations.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would honestly stop playing basketball and focus on sharing the word of God.
