Shantel Davis discusses Zoey’s Memory by Sara Katev Haber

We’re excited to chat with Shantel Davis about Zoey’s Memory. Check out our conversation below.

Shantel, it’s so good to be connecting again, this time to discuss one of your favorite books. So – let’s jump right in, can you tell us about Zoey’s Memory – what should our readers know about this book?
After waking up in a psychiatric facility with no recollection of how she got there, Zoey is adamant that there has been a misunderstanding. However, Dr. Hall, her psychiatrist, insists on keeping her there until she can be deemed safe. Determined to unravel the moments before being committed Zoey embarks on a journey to uncover what happened in the hours before. Along the way, she confronts the trauma of her mother’s passing nearly ten years earlier. Zoey’s Memory is a light mystery that delves into themes of mental health anxiety, and grief.

Awesome, so let’s dive a bit more into why this book matters to you.
Because this book helps anyone who is going through a death of a loved one. Ones that are suffering from mental health issues and depression. Mainly this book is to help people to cope with the loss of a loved one and move on. If you do suffer the loss of a loved one, you don’t have to be alone, support will always be there.

How did you feel about the ending? Was it satisfying? Disappointing? Unexpected?
The ending is very satisfying you will have to get the book and read it from beginning to end.

How did you discover this book?
I discovered this book by working with her when she was modeling my clothing. I also found out that she had an Instagram page for her books. I read every single one of her books. She is currently working on another book. You can buy her books from Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and Good Reads. That’s when I discovered her talent not only as a Model that she is but from reading her books she is a writer and author as well.
