Sir Lord StrapZ on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Sir Lord StrapZ. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Lord, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Absolutely my daughter’s growth has made me proud she knows 3 languages already. Also she just learns and picks up everything so fast just like her pops. She is fun and very playful. She makes me laugh because she is so smart and always has the most timely actins or comments for a 2 year old.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hey everyone, I’m Lord Strapz—artist, entrepreneur, and storyteller. My journey blends music, fashion, and street culture into a movement that’s all about authenticity, hustle, and turning pain into power. Whether I’m in the studio, building my brand, or connecting with the streets, everything I do is rooted in real-life experiences and a passion for elevating voices that often go unheard.

What makes Lord Strapz unique is that I’m not just creating for the moment—I’m building something timeless. From raw, lyrical storytelling to bold streetwear that speaks volumes, it’s all about expressing truth and inspiring growth. Every track, every drop, and every step I take is about legacy.

Right now, I’m working on new music, fresh visuals, and expanding the brand in ways that reflect the journey I’ve been on—and where I’m headed next. If you’re about real stories, real grind, and real elevation, then you’re already part of the movement.

Stay locked in—Lord Strapz is just getting started.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
My earliest memory of feeling powerful was probably the first time I touched a mic and realized people were actually listening. I was young, and life was chaotic around me, but in that moment—it was like everything slowed down. I wasn’t just a product of my environment anymore—I had something to say, and people felt it.

It wasn’t about fame or money back then—it was that raw feeling of turning pain into poetry, turning silence into sound. That mic gave me a voice when the world wanted me quiet. From that moment, I knew my words could shift energy, move people, and maybe even change lives. That’s real power to me.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yeah, there were definitely moments where it felt heavy—like the world was on my shoulders. Times when things weren’t moving, people switched up, or life just hit hard. But giving up? That was never really an option for me. I might’ve bent, but I never broke.

I come from a place where if you stop moving, you get left behind. So even in the darkest moments, I kept pushing—sometimes on faith alone. I believe pressure makes diamonds. All those setbacks just sharpened me, made the vision clearer, and the hunger stronger.

I don’t believe in giving up because I know what I’m doing this for. There’s a bigger purpose behind it all—and I’m not stopping until it’s fulfilled.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
“Loyalty, respect, and staying true to the hustle.”

They’d know you don’t play about your circle — once someone’s solid with you, you ride for them. But the moment loyalty’s in question, it’s a wrap. You value real over fake, principles over popularity, and you hold yourself and your team to a standard that doesn’t bend just to fit in.

They’d also say you got vision — whether it’s music, business, or how you carry yourself, you move like someone who knows where he’s going. That means loyalty isn’t just a preference — it’s the code you live by.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Have you ever gotten what you wanted, and found it did not satisfy you?
Sometimes you chase a woman because of the thrill, the look, or the vibe she gave off… and once you get her, you realize it ain’t really what you wanted deep down.
You might bag a attractive lady, but her energy don’t feed your soul… her presence don’t bring peace… and it’s like, man, I wanted her — but I didn’t need this.
It hits harder when you realize you were trying to fill a void with the wrong type of woman — someone who looked good but couldn’t match your grind, your loyalty, or your vision.
