We’re looking forward to introducing you to 00Luv. Check out our conversation below.
Hi 00Luv, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: Have you stood up for someone when it cost you something?
Absolutely. Standing up for people — especially the ones I work closely with — has cost me relationships, opportunities, and even access to certain circles. But loyalty is one of the foundations of how I operate.
As I’ve grown the Vintage Nightfest Network, I’ve learned that your partnerships shape your future. So when I choose to work with someone, I stand behind them fully. I don’t bounce between groups or chase whoever is making noise at the moment.
If a brand, a collective, or a creative team locks in with me first, that’s who I move with. I protect those relationships. I honor their trust. It’s cost me some connections, but the truth is: some costs are worth paying for peace, clarity, and consistency.
In the long run, the right alliances matter more than the temporary attention of the wrong ones.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m known by 00Luv. I’m the International Creative Director and Founder of the Vintage Nightfest Network — a multi-city creative ecosystem blending nightlife, culture, fashion, and technology. What began in St. Louis has expanded into a network with chapters in Albuquerque, New York City, and more on the way.
My work lives at the intersection of underground culture and international ambition. I curate experiences that feel cinematic, elevated, and ahead of their time — from immersive festivals to darker concepts like Shutdown Worldwide.
Vintage Nightfest isn’t just an event — it’s a network, a movement, and a global creative blueprint I’m actively building city by city.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
One of the moments that truly shaped how I see the world was when I started to recognize the difference between people and systems. I realized that life, business, art, relationships — they all operate through networks. Who you connect with, how you move, and the energy you protect determines everything.
There came a point where I started seeing patterns — how certain people moved with intention, how others drained it, and how the right connections can change the entire trajectory of what you’re building. That’s when I shifted from thinking like an individual creator to thinking like a network architect.
I discovered that love — whether for your craft, your people, or your vision — isn’t just emotion. It’s commitment. It’s structure. It’s choosing who you allow into your world and who you build with. That shifted everything. I stopped chasing circles and instead started building my own.
That realization shaped the entire Vintage Nightfest Network. It taught me to move with precision, to value loyalty, and to build systems that allow people to shine. It also taught me that the world rewards those who design their own path instead of waiting for someone to open a door.
That moment — understanding the power of networks, patterns, and love as a guiding force — permanently changed how I see the world, people, and the future I’m building.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There were definitely moments when I almost gave up. Building something from the ground up — especially when you’re funding it yourself and thinking on a national and international level — comes with pressure most people never see. There have been times when personal setbacks, financial strain, and the weight of running a creative network made everything feel heavy.
But every time I reached that breaking point, I remembered why I started. I realized that resilience is the real currency of a founder. Money comes and goes. Opportunities come and go. But the ability to stay focused through chaos — to keep building when no one is watching — is what takes a local idea and turns it into a global movement.
I’m learning to curate moments instead of chasing them. My approach has always been very “Garden of Eden” — attract, don’t run after. The right people, collaborators, and opportunities show up when you move with intention and discipline.
Even now, life isn’t perfect. My vehicle is acting up, things get difficult, and I’m still balancing the grind with the vision. But I trust the process. As I level up, life will align. The world isn’t getting easier — I just have to keep getting better.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’d say the public version of me is real, but it’s not the whole picture. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve taken losses, and I’m still learning.
I aim now to curate experiences more than I talk about them, and that can make me seem mysterious or distant. But that’s intentional. I focus on attracting the right energy, not explaining myself to the wrong audience. The version people see publicly — the international creative director, the founder, the person expanding a multi-city network — that’s me. It’s just that most of the real work happens off-camera, in the late nights, the hard moments, and the parts no one sees.
I’m evolving, leveling up, and growing into the person my future requires.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What light inside you have you been dimming?
One of the lights I’ve dimmed the most is my capacity to love deeply — not just romantically, but in the way I connect with people, cities, and the world. I’ve always had a vision that stretches far beyond my circumstances, but for a long time I kept it quiet because of the environments I was in.
In today’s culture, it’s easy to get lost in distractions — lust, quick connections, the constant noise of social media. I’ve seen how those things can drain people, break relationships, and weaken the very thing that makes us human. I’ve felt that myself. Sometimes you have to go through dark tunnels to understand how much light you were meant to carry.
For me, love is still the core. Love for people, love for connection, love for the cities I’m building into the Vintage Nightfest Network. That’s the light I’m learning not to hide anymore. The world needs more people willing to build with intention, with loyalty, and with heart — even when it’s easier to move numb.
I’m no longer dimming that part of myself. I’m trying to let it guide how I create, how I lead, and how I expand this brand worldwide.
