Story & Lesson Highlights with Coach T Speaks

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Coach T Speaks. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Coach T , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
This has been a journey that I will always remember. Everything I thought I was going to do in Entrepreneurship began to shift., God allowed me to see heights in my Business, Travel, and Opportunities that I never would have been able to do on my own. Then out of nowhere, He began calling me into Ministry. Fear is not a deep enough word for how I felt. The feeling of not being enough, knowing enough, or even my capacity to get it right was screaming in my head. By simply stopping the noise in my head and the ability to stop living in comparison, I was able to build a Marketplace Ministry and rebrand and relaunch my business as God had divinely designed.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Coach T Speaks, the CEO & Founder of Her Path 2 Purpose Academy. Our Academy offers our Signature Program, The K.I.N.G.D.O.M Method Mastery Blueprint, which helps women in Leadership, aged 35 & up, Discover, Develop, and Dominate in their divine calling within 90 days, utilizing our Kingdom Method Mastery Blueprint. Coming from a very traumatic background that should have landed me in prison or my grave, but God had plans that would impact women all over the world. I went from trauma to multi-degreed, yet I felt unfulfilled at every accomplishment. Now, as a Certified Christian Life Coach who uses a Spirit-Led Coaching Model to help women not only answer their calling, but, like myself, walk away from leadership in the corporate sector to lead in business. I enjoy delivering the signature framework in Masterclasses, Live Events, Individual and Group Coaching. I have created a community, “EmpowerHER Purpose Circle,” of hundreds of women in Leadership, Ministry, or Business. I do live “Hot Seat Coaching”, Bible Study, and Prayer with the community. I also have a Podcast on YouTube that I will be relaunching before the end of the year, “Resilient Souls Speak”, as well as completing my first Book, “A Woman’s Plan to Purpose”. I must say that Trauma has not been a barrier, but has been my stepping stone to becoming a Triple Threat: A Transformational Coach, Speaker, and Author.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose and must now be released is the spirit of people pleasing. I have healed from the trauma that almost shaped a different individual in me. People pleasing became a normal part of my life because of the fears I had about loss. Losing my parents at the tender age of 13 (mother) and 16 (father), I always wanted to build the perfect family. From friends to real family, I began losing the authentic parts of me out of fear. Once the healing began, the first thing that had to be released was making everyone happy but myself. I am an advocate for knowing your identity and being authentic at all times.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
One thing that suffering taught me that success never could was how resilient I am. In business and in life, I realized that I will never take failure as an option. Suffering as a child made me a strong woman, and suffering as a woman made me a strong leader. But one thing that I will do is find a new opportunity to do something differently with every failure. Many days in my life, I have wanted to give up, but I have always felt that someone else’s breakthrough was attached to me, never giving up. In that, I can honestly say that I am the true definition of resilient.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of me is always the true me. I love being the authentic me. I feel like the best way to help other women desire transformation in their lives is to show them the true and unadulterated me. There are many facets to me that women my age identify with. I want them to understand that the only difference in my success and their upcoming success is that I took the step first. We are the same in how intelligent we are, how strong we are, how capable we are, and how destined for greatness we are. I just went before them to pave the way, take the hits, and the downfalls, so that it could be smoother for them.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me when I am gone is that I was a selfless woman. That I left a legacy of women who stepped up and stepped out of their comfort zone and stepped into their true calling and purpose. I transformed the lives of generations of families, financially, mentally, and spiritually.
