Good morning Derick, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normail day for me is waking up and beig able top do what i planed to do and have to do, such as early morning meditation, exercising, take a warm shower and go to my studio.
being in my studio i just spend few minutes to premeditate and know what i want to work on it being new work or try to finish some old works but most of all i love multitasking so when i look around at the end of the day and see what i have done it gives ,me essence of achievement and makes me feel happy and normal.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Derick Nana Mbrah well known as Tafari Boanerges
am a visual artist and my brand name is Tafari Artworld, i do contemporary and conceptual art works.
portrait, murals,cieling art, body painting, clothe painting , interior decore and etc.
i promote peace love equal right amongs all race and sex, child trafficking and sex slave, political injustice and enviromental protection.
i love teaching art and sharig ideas amongs youth and adults in my daily life.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
I am a Selftaught artist and I taught my self most things, I know and do through the blessigs and inspirations i get from the Most High and mother earth and the ancestors teachings.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Persistance is try and never give up the fight, no procrastination,
there was and has been a time when i had the chance and time to do somethings and i always postpond it and sometimes never get it doner at all.
All things has cost me alot when i loopk back at times spent in things that matters not and never meant no good to my health and well being. things i shoulld have done to master my practice but always sat down procrastinating and it resulted me in lack of knowledge but in all this i never give up on my self, believingg in my self and my abilities i keep persisting leqrning and doing my best in what i do.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I have always wanted a space of my own a place where i ccan call home or my studio .
A place where i can express my God given talents and share the knowledge i have been blessed with by the Most High One and the lessons learnt from society through my art works. thinking of a place looking for a place admiring places i seen and been to with the feel and wish to own something similar a time to come no matter how longg it will take as it has been said a a journey of a thousand mile begins with a single step, I have been able to make a move of which movement determines the outcome of the journey not looking back with regret but with thanks given, i can look back and around and say i am on the path of attaining what i have been praying for and really and truely i have my art studio shop gallery coming along 3 in 1 at the same spot which is amazing because looking back t time the space which was there empty now represnts a beautiful strructuire representing my visions.
Time is a rope and sometimes it can be a very very long rope and as you have your habds on the rope you dont let ggo untill what ever is at the end of that rope and achieved harder the battle sweeter the victory.

Born with a vision for a mission , I am acomplishing my mission here on earth as a servant of the Most High and representing the Ancestors.
What am doing is not what i heard but what i know have to do been around many fields of work testifies to my God given talents is what i have to knowing well that I have what others dont have that dont make me betterthan any one but i feelgood nd better knowing and doing what am destine to do and doing ittothe fullness of my ability.
Being inited to speak at programs as a Guest Speaker here and there without me lifting my finger to ask for the momenft but that moment it self located me and aligned with my spirit. I know my self from within not from what people say not even family .
I am a hard nut to crack and for the reason i dont follow the crowed i have always been in my lane if my spirit is not intune withh what is going on or about to be done i dont partake i am firm wghen it comes to my own decisions cos i know hwat i say from Higher Self not guessing not what some one says but what i say is what matters most to me i do listen to people about what they say about me some bold to tell mein the fae others hiding and chip chatting but all dont move i dont ignore ideas and advices but i dont move by them wihtout a second thought .
iI do what i want to do knowing that i know what i am doing the expertations of people dont matter to me nor bother me.
