Good morning Feyisayo, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I typically start the day with gratitude to God for waking me up and for the blessings I’m privileged to enjoy. I meditate on passages of the Bible, I pluck a few leaves from my garden for my herbal tea. Then morning exercise.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a storyteller, I have been telling stories in various media for years now; and as long as God gives me grace I will keep telling them.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
My relationship with God. God is holy and I am not, God is wise and I am a fool, God is everything that I am not; and I want to be like him.
So every day I learn from scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to teach me.
There are days I do not consciously try to draw closer to God, but He knows my heart and He is faithful.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
I wouldn’t call it a wound; but the realisation that I am not as powerful as I thought I was, and the fact that I am at the mercy of God, just like the rest of humanity, that’s quite humbling, and that’s okay.
That is true healing. It’s not a one time thing, it’s continuous. It’s a blessed state.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Love. True love. Truth, loyalty, not blind loyalty to any human being, but loyalty to God, which is also a state of truth.
