Hi Jazmyn , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
The Mindset of Being My own Boss !
Just to Have the Mindset is Growth ‘ it’s a Step to a Journey of Faith You must have an enormous Amount of Faith to be an Entrepreneur!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Jazmyn Lacey From New Orleans La’ Born and Raised ‘ Entrepreneur BeautyGuru’ Chief ‘ Spiritual Advisor! & Now Launching Chin Rich” Hat & a clothing Brand this Winter ‘ Dedicated to My Father Chin “ Andrew Robertson .

I’ve Been working on this brand for a while this brand came to my vision through Prayer
It’s almost like my dad spoke to me through spirit ‘ in Japan Chin means Money & Abundance’ Chin was My dad nickname he was known for Hustling through the streets of New Orleans to make a living for his family. My dad was a Money Magnet’ anything he touched it multiplied’ A Math Genius. & his dream was to be rich one day just like any other young man living and well. unfortunately he lost his life to police violence’ before their was a Travon Martin their was an Andrew Robertson Same story another black man innocently losing his life to police abuse ‘ and cover ups My father was beat to death by New Orleans Police officers. Left behind 3 biological Children Me Jazmyn Lacey ‘ Lil Andrew’ Richard & my baby brothers . We Loved him dearly & miss him tremendously’ words will Never be enough!

His story motivated me even more to bring this brand out ! we can be Rich in spirit and in mind ‘ & My father was Rich in Mind & spirit! & even tho he’s not with me physically he’s with me in spirit’! So i dedicate this brand to him because he can live rich in the sky !

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Losing My dad at the Age of 12 ‘ traumatic I still have break downs and crying sessions when I think about how he lost his life to police. It’s a Pain that will Never stop hurting a scar on my heart that will never heal ! But the shaping came with time I had to learn how to live without him and accept that he couldn’t be with me physically. My Mom Janice Duck ‘Lacey showed me strength because i didn’t see he cry as much after losing him either she held it in or Just knew she had to be strong for me ! My mom was my dad first love they both was raised in the most historic neighborhood of New Orleans Treme ‘ Their she connected with him and we all became a powerful Blood line with My Dad side of the family The Lil People! ‘ Treme Own and well known Family of the neighborhood’ loved and celebrated no matter what ‘ My father came from love ! I grew to understand that even with out him being here I still had so much love and support around me from my Family of both sides ‘ Lil People & Lacey’s it All taught me strength! My Bloodline taught me strength!

When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stop hiding my pain when I got close to God after losing my father! My grandma Patrica Hall took me to get baptized at greater St.Steven by Bishop Paul Martin!
My heart changed I started to dream more as a young Woman ‘ and as young as I was I would write down my goals and ambitions and always visualize being my own boss Some Day .

Yes ‘ I’m very Goal Driven in public & on the internet’ the entrepreneur lifestyle is my life and I’m very humble‘ and In any conversation I have with anyone publicly they know I’m going to motivate them with words of positivity to chase their dreams and goals no matter how long it take !

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m focused on my next moves ‘ clear mindset !
I feel most at Peace when all my goals are in order and aligned for me & My children
Harmony & Saint !
I feel most at peace when I’m around positive people & smart thinkers !
I love to be in rooms with people that have more than me so I can learn more & know more !
