We recently had the chance to connect with Latisha Holmes MBA and have shared our conversation below.
Latisha, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Being over 40, I am most proud that I am building who I am as a person and a brand. Someone who possesses high emotional intelligence, one who encourages others and most importantly a listening ear to all.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi my name is Latisha Holmes, MBA owner of EliteSmilesNYC a cosmetic teeth whitening company, content creator, mompreneur, podcaster and is currently working on my latest business venture.
I am helping moms who have lost themselves in motherhood find themselves by uplifting, coaching, mentorship and showing them you can be a great mom and a great person to yourself.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My mother, her work ethic has taught me to always go after any and everything I want. There are 24 hours in a day, what you do with your time will set you apart.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There were many times that I almost gave up. Ultimately my resilience and faith kept me going. I realize my purpose is stronger than giving up.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
All me. What you see is what you get, but I rarely show my losses and things I battle with. Why? Because no one cares about the things you struggle with. However, through my coaching sessions my losses are used to build wins.
