Story & Lesson Highlights with Lorenzo Zucchi

We recently had the chance to connect with Lorenzo Zucchi and have shared our conversation below.

Lorenzo, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Waking out, bringing breakfast with coffee to my wife in bed, checking emails and social network, then reading an ebook during half an hour exercise with exercise bike.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a barefoot writer, that means I am a writer as many others and a barefooter as some others. I think it’s unique and I love being myself from time to time

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
I used to believe people support each other and now I realize we all live in an individual world. Still believing the form of association can give mutual benefits in a classic win win situation

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Not yet, but it could come in the near future. Struggling as a writer is now becoming more and more demanding with even AI creating new books everyday.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Sometimes. As we live in a world of masks I also need from time to time to adapt my image and my behavior to the places I am invited to. I would be a barefooter all the time but sometimes I’m not allowed to

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What do you think people will most misunderstand about your legacy?
My legacy is something that is not understpod right now. After my life, in some years, many aspects of my books will be recovered
