Story & Lesson Highlights with M real of Lagos Nigeria

We recently had the chance to connect with M real and have shared our conversation below.

Hi M, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
My music career is what I’m proud of building that nobody seems to see

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Mreal, a fast-rising artist with a unique sound and captivating stage presence. Known for blending emotion with rhythm, his music speaks from the heart and connects deeply with fans.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was curious, creative, full of dreams, unfiltered joy, and natural confidence. I was someone who acted from passion, not approval.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yeah… there was a time Mreal almost gave up.
When the love felt fake, the support went quiet, and the dream looked too far. But somehow, the music kept calling. The same thing that broke me was what healed me — the sound, the message, the purpose. 🎵

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
The public version of Mreal is real but not the whole story.
What people see on stage is the energy, the passion, the strength.
But behind the lights, there’s a man who feels, doubts, prays, and fights to stay grounded.
Mreal is real and i am still human. 💭

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
Yeah, I could — and honestly, I already do.
You see, I learned early that not everyone’s gonna see your grind, not everyone’s gonna clap for you. But if you only move when people praise you, you’ll stop when they don’t.

For me, it’s deeper than the noise — it’s about purpose, passion, and God’s timing. I give my best because it’s me. Whether they cheer or stay silent, I’m still showing up, still pushing, still being real.

At the end of the day, I don’t do it for attention… I do it for legacy. 💯
