We’re looking forward to introducing you to Marcela Alonso . Check out our conversation below.
Marcela , a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’m being called to step fully into the next level of my life without holding myself back. For a long time, I was afraid to take up space, to be seen for who I really am, and to move forward without waiting for other people’s approval or direction. Now I feel called to trust myself, use my voice, and pursue the opportunities that align with my purpose whether that’s in my creative work, my personal growth, or the way I show up in relationships.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Marcela Alonso, and I’m a content creator, podcast host, and storyteller who focuses on sexuality, honesty, and real-life experiences. I started my journey in the adult-entertainment world, and instead of letting that limit me, I turned it into a platform where I educate, empower, and open conversations that most people are afraid to have.
My brand is built on transparency, intelligence, and lived experience. On my podcast Get Schooled, I talk about everything from relationships to polyamory to self-development, and I give people a space to learn without judgment. I’m also working on a series of creative projects including film, writing, and digital content that tell stories from a raw, human, and unapologetic point of view.
What makes my work unique is that I’ve lived every chapter I talk about. I’m not speaking from theory I’m speaking from truth, growth, and resilience, and that’s what connects people to my story and my brand.

If you want a more professional, more emotional, or more bold version, I can tailor it exactly to the tone of the interview.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
The person who taught me the most about work was my mother. Watching her navigate life with resilience, discipline, and a strong work ethic showed me early on that nothing comes without effort and consistency. She taught me how to stay focused, adapt, and keep going even when things get challenging. Those lessons shaped the way I approach every part of my career and the drive I bring to everything I do.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Everyday
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what really matters to me is loyalty, honesty, and showing up as my full authentic self. They know I value real connection over surface-level relationships, and that I care deeply about people who are genuine and consistent. They’d also say I’m someone who protects my peace, works hard for what I believe in, and always stands by the people I love.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
Nothing
