Story & Lesson Highlights with Michael Judkins of Allentown

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Michael Judkins. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Michael, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Who are you learning from right now?
This may sound funny, but I am currently learning a lot from myself at this stage in my life. I am becoming more attentive to my loyalty, my intuition, and the path I want to take. It’s a mix of emotions—scary, frustrating, liberating, and sometimes even sad. But this journey is uniquely mine.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, I am Michael B. Judkins, Creator and Therapist. I write material ranging from poetry and children’s books to scripts, feature films, and short films. And the Arts and Care event is held yearly. I am combining my two worlds of creative arts and wellness care. Currently, in production of Feature Film- Steve Brosky Living in Allentown. Anti-Bullying Documentary as a co-producer. My process isn’t just about crafting a script, understanding challenges, and celebrating creativity. As an eternal student, I embrace every opportunity to learn and grow from each project and interaction. Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
I learn a good work ethic from my grandmother and mother. I was 13 years old, volunteering at the hospital where my grandmother worked. And, my mother worked as a school crossing guard and used to take me out to the zoo some afternoons. It showed me how to be productive.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Lack of resources, Monteaary. Its always something crawling in the back of my mind. How do I live my dream if my dream costs? I’m learning to look at resources as a global statement, not just a monetary one.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief you used to hold tightly but now think was naive or wrong?
I learn that family can be many things: the ones you grew up with and the ones who follow your journey. I do still believe in Family First. Now, I say, my family means many things to me.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember my kindness and teamwork. In my life, some things have happened. However, the spirit of Michael never went away.
