Hi Sharon, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: When was the last time you felt true joy?
I try to focus on joy and gratitude every day. One of the bigger joyful movements of the year was in July when I when I helped a family buy their dream home. They found me on Facebook looking to rent and had no idea that they could even qualify to purchase a home. We helped them relocate and buy a brand new Build! We experience so much joy that day when they received their keys!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a licensed Realtor in South Carolina and North Carolina. I also hold a Mortgage License in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida. The combination of experience and knowledge often helps in the home buying process.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I had a mentor in my early 20s who taught me how to be a great manager. He promoted me at a young age because he believed in my abilities. He was always so confident in my approach and decision-making. He told me I could do anything if I put my mind to it and worked hard.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Working on commission can be very hard. When I first got my real estate license, several months had gone by and I had not even received a paycheck. My husband encouraged me to stick with it. I was consistent with my marketing and I finally got my first client and the rest of history. I’m so glad that I did not give up.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My friends know that my family and friends are very important to me. They know that making memories and spending time together are at the top of my list.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I am positive that I am doing what I should be doing. I was called back to work by the man upstairs. I unretired to get back to helping people realize their housing dreams. I have achieved a lot of success in a short time and that is really the only explanation that I have.
