We recently had the chance to connect with Tangier Wallace and have shared our conversation below.
Tangier , we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
I believe that most people misunderstand the concept of a Women’s Online Forum because they often see it as a place for anyone but themselves, when in reality it’s needed for all women. Some may see it as a place of gossip instead of what it’s actually built on and that’s accountability, honesty and shared experiences. The space that I provide gives women the freedom to speak openly about uncomfortable truths and oftentimes that can be unsettling to people who avoid unfiltered honesty. But that’s exactly what makes Eloquently Spoken forums powerful, it allows people to not feel shame but confront reality, and not everyone is ready to face that.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi, I’m Tangier Wallace, and I created Eloquently Spoken Women’s Online Forum as a space rooted in honesty, accountability and real conversations. I wanted to build a community where women can speak openly without judgment about deeper experiences, struggles and achievements that shapes us. My forum isn’t about pretending, it’s about telling the truth, growth and being there for one another. The space that I’ve created is for personal stories, offering perspective and challenging each other to do better. This space was designed to be Real- because we deserve that!
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
There are several things that can break bonds between people, usually people think that it’s the big things like betrayals that break bonds but in actuality it’s the smaller things that go unnoticed that hurt it most. Things like lack of communication, dishonesty, trust issues and unspoken resentment can put a wedge between people. When people stop feeling seen or safe in being authentic it will make them pull back and distant themselves. And once that occurs then distance begin to grow quietly. But what restores bonds is consistency, honest conversations and pure intentions. However, this can only happen when all parties involved are willing to do the work. Bonds aren’t restored by acting as though nothing ever happened but in the willingness to take responsibility and choose connection over ego. Hence, why Eloquently Spoken was created- to provide a safe space where bonds can be built and the focus of perfection isn’t a qualifying factor.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I believe we all have hidden parts of us, some so deeply buried that we haven’t fully met them yet. However, personally I carried my pain quietly tucking it away until I realized that hiding it made it heavier. The moment I started owning my Own story, everything shifted. Instead of letting my pain silence me, I began letting it speak as a source of strength. That’s why I created Eloquently Spoken. I wanted to turn what once held me back into something that could build connection, courage and most importantly truth. My pain became my power and through this space, I hope that other women can find that same transformation within themselves.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I am deeply committed to the true meaning of Sisterhood. To me, sisterhood means standing beside one another with honesty, empathy and accountability, even when the conversations are hard. I know how powerful it is when women come together and support one another, not out of obligation but genuine care. I know that despite the stereotype that women are catty and cannot be supportive, true sisterhood not only exists, it thrives. I also know that when we lift each other up, we don’t just create connection, we build something unbreakable. This commitment to sisterhood is at the heart of everything I do and it’s the foundation of the community I created with Eloquently Spoken.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I’m no longer here, I hope that those who crossed paths with me can say that Eloquently Spoken was more than just a platform and that it served as a meaningful part of their journey. I would like for people to remember it as a safe space that gave them the courage to be transparent and walk in their truths. And if Eloquently Spoken helped one person feel seen, supported and inspired, then I have fulfilled my purpose.
