Good morning Ta’Nyzha, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me now, is getting up and going to work. I do still try to crochet however, it’s not as much as I used to but, it is now my knorm.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! My name is Ta’Nyzha Linzer and I have a small business called Knot Thee Knorm where I create custom crochet items, mainly wearables. I’m super proud of what my brand has become and never thought it would be something. It’s not a big brand but, I’m working on becoming a brand that when you think of crochet, you think of Knot Thee Knorm.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
My mother definitely has taught me the most about work. She has always instilled in me what hard work is and what that looks like.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Being fresh out of college and unemployed for nearly six months, I definitely suffered. During that time I learned resilience and how to be patient.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say being successful. I always speak about how successful I want to be in my career, and how much it would mean to be a pioneer as a black woman in sports.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when i’m simply crocheting while listening to music, or just being around my friends.
