Viktor Drago shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Viktor , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is a normal day like for you right now?
A normal day for me starts early with training — boxing, conditioning, or recovery work, depending on the schedule. I like to stay disciplined, so I treat every day like I’m preparing for a fight. Outside the gym, I focus on content creation, working with brands, and staying connected with my audience. I also make time for mental recovery — reading, reflection, or just being outdoors. It’s a mix of hard work, creativity, and staying centered.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Viktor Drago — I’m a professional boxer, three-time world champion in cross-country skiing and cross-country roller skiing, and a content creator with over 7 million followers. What makes my journey unique is that I’ve been able to blend elite sports, entertainment, and motivation into one brand. I use my platform to inspire people to push limits — physically and mentally — and to show that discipline, humor, and creativity can coexist. Right now, I’m focused on growing as a boxer while building content that motivates millions around the world to become stronger and more confident in their own lives.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
One of the moments that truly shaped how I see the world was going through serious injuries and setbacks during my athletic career. At first, I saw them as obstacles — but later, I realized they were lessons that forced me to grow mentally, not just physically. It taught me that nothing happens to us, it happens for us. Every challenge is a chance to become stronger, more aware, and more grateful for what we have.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, many times. Every athlete, every creator, hits that point where things don’t go as planned — when the body’s tired, the mind’s heavy, and nothing seems to move forward. I’ve been there. But I learned that those moments are the real tests — not of strength, but of belief. Every time I almost gave up, something inside me reminded me why I started. That “why” always pulls me back stronger.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They’d say what matters most to me is becoming the best version of myself and helping others do the same. I’m all about self-improvement, discipline, and living in alignment with who you really are. I believe energy doesn’t lie — if you bring truth and passion to what you do, it shows in every part of your life.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I lived fully — that I followed my passion, stayed true to myself, and helped others awaken their own power. That I brought strength, laughter, and presence wherever I went. More than success or titles, I want my life to show what it means to be conscious, fearless, and real.
