Sush Limbu on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Sush Limbu and have shared our conversation below.

Sush, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work, I’ve been really enjoying experimenting with different types of content — especially lifestyle and travel, not just fashion and beauty. Whether it’s capturing scenic views during trips or sharing everyday moments, I love creating without any specific agenda — purely for the joy of it. It’s a wonderful reminder of why I started creating in the first place and what keeps my passion alive.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hi! I’m Sush, a content creator who started out making content just for fun – sharing my love for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. What began as a hobby has grown into something incredible. l’ve built a supportive community, connected with amazing people, collaborated with big brands, and even attended London Fashion Week, which was a dream come true.
I’m currently working on an ad campaign with Guud Woman, a health and wellness brand that creates natural, science-backed supplements designed by women for women. And I’m really excited to be working on launching my own brand soon – something that reflects my journey and everything I’m passionate about.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was just a girl who loved being creative and expressing herself in any way possible – through style, ideas, and connecting with others. I didn’t worry about being perfect or fitting in; I just did what made me happy. That’s the energy I try to keep with me now in everything I create.

What fear has held you back the most in your life?
The fear of not being good enough has definitely held me back at times. I used to overthink everything — worrying if what I was creating was ‘good enough’ or if people would even care. Over time, I learned to focus on creating for myself and what truly makes me happy, rather than seeking validation. That shift has made everything I do feel more rewarding and authentic.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to creating content and building a brand that’s authentic and meaningful, no matter how long it takes. Right now, that includes my work on an ad project with Guud Woman and the process of launching my own brand — both of which reflect my passions and the community I’ve built. It’s important to me that everything I create connects with people in a genuine way, and that’s what keeps me motivated every day.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people remember me as someone who stayed true to herself and her passions, no matter what. Someone who created not for validation, but because she genuinely loved it, and who inspired others to do the same. I want the story to reflect the community I built, the connections I made, and the joy and authenticity I tried to bring into everything I created. Ultimately, I hope they say I encouraged others to follow their own paths, take risks, and believe in themselves along the way.
