We’re looking forward to introducing you to Tanu Ojha Singh . Check out our conversation below.
Tanu , so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. Have you ever been glad you didn’t act fast?
“Oh, absolutely. I can recall a very specific, pivotal moment right after I moved to the United States. I was essentially building my career from scratch, navigating a new culture, and desperately seeking guidance. Naturally, I was trying to connect with every coach and mentor who could share their experience and help me establish my path.
At that time, a lot of business coaches reached out, but I formed a particularly strong connection with one individual. I was genuinely impressed by her and was seriously considering a significant investment in her program, truly believing she was the key to unlocking my next step.
However, I’m profoundly grateful that, for reasons I couldn’t articulate then, I paused and ultimately did not make that investment. It wasn’t about her capability; she was a brilliant coach. It was about divine timing and soul alignment.
The realization that followed was a cornerstone of my spiritual philosophy: Sometimes, when the Universe is delaying or blocking an opportunity, it is only for your highest good.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
“Hello! I’m Tanu Ojha Singh, and I serve as a metaphysical expert and spiritual life coach. My specialty lies in the profound and often overlooked connection between self-awareness, karma, and radical self-love.
My core philosophy is simple yet powerful: Your life isn’t random—it’s following a script based on energetic patterns and soul contracts. My brand is dedicated to helping people decode that script.
What truly defines my work is making these complex spiritual concepts accessible. I take topics like Karmic Connections and Soul Contracts and transform them from mystical jargon into practical, day-to-day tools. I don’t just talk about energy; I teach my clients exactly how to spot the Karmic Patterns—those frustrating, repeating cycles in love, career, and finance—and give them the simple, actionable exercises needed to break those cycles for good.
My journey is rooted in my own transformation. Moving here and building a career from scratch was my greatest teacher. It taught me that genuine transformation comes not from fighting external circumstances, but from trusting in your own divine timing and reclaiming your energetic power.
This belief is why I authored my book, “Affirmations for Sensitive Souls”, available on Amazon. Affirmations were the very first tool that helped me shift my energy and step into who I am today. The book offers 105 powerful affirmations, paired with self-reflective questions and journaling space, making it a truly interactive guide to self-mastery.”
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
For me personally, and in the work I teach, I absolutely believe that trust is the foundational currency of any soul connection. It’s the bond that holds energy together. And yes, I hold the perspective that once that foundational trust is genuinely broken, it is exceptionally difficult, if not impossible, to restore it to its original form.
In my life, I practice a philosophy of three strikes. I give people three chances—three opportunities to show they value the relationship and honor my boundaries. After that, I move on. I learned the hard way that continually giving someone more than they have earned is not an act of kindness; it’s an act of self-abandonment.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
“Yes, my journey hit a critical inflection point just last month. I had actually come to a moment of total surrender: I closed down a business and was ready to give up on my dreams of educating others. I was trying very hard to fit into the conventional space of coaching, focusing heavily on emotional healing and inner child work. And to be frank, I found that many people weren’t truly ready to prioritize that deep, foundational emotional work. It felt like I was pushing against a massive wall.
But that moment of surrender was the gift. I decided to stop trying to force the popular concepts and simply follow my strongest intuition and soul calling. I pivoted entirely, focusing on what felt intensely alive for me: Soul Contracts, Karmic Connections, self-realization, and the patterns we carry throughout life.
The shift was instantaneous and profound. It was as if I finally started speaking the language my audience was actually waiting to hear.
Now, everything I do—from my writing to my coaching—is simply a radical act of following that inner guidance. I’ve learned that the most difficult part of the spiritual journey is often trusting your own path. My highest intention now is just to keep following that soul calling, confident that wherever it takes me, it will be exactly for my highest good, and the good of those I’m meant to serve.”
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
“That’s a fascinating question, and it brings up a truth I hold deeply, though it’s often met with skepticism in many environments: I fundamentally believe that true, intentional healing absolutely works and is profoundly transformative.
The disagreement I often encounter stems from a lack of faith or belief in the process itself. But the problem is the expectation that Healing must be proven externally. Healing is not a performance; it’s an internal, experiential shift. It changed the entire trajectory of my life, just as it has for countless others.
However, I am not here to prove anything to anyone. I operate from a place of radical self-trust: I know what I know, based on my experience and the results I see. My philosophy is that healing is something that must be experienced, not argued about. And if someone is not ready to open their heart to that possibility, that is perfectly okay. My commitment is to those who are ready for the work. I am here to make my own aligned path, without needing external validation or approval.”
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
When I’m gone, I truly hope people remember me not just for the books I wrote, but for the energy I brought to the world.
I hope the story people tell about Tanu Ojha Singh is that she was a woman of unyielding resilience, profound kindness, and deep compassion who simply refused to give up on her own soul’s journey or the potential of others.
But more than anything, I hope my legacy is tied to my passion: that I spent my life successfully waking others up to their own inward journey. That I took complex ideas like Karmic Patterns and Soul Contracts and shared them in the simplest, most accessible way possible. Because that work—guiding people back to their own power and self-awareness—is what fuels me. It is the one thing I can see myself doing for my entire life without ever feeling burnout or tired. I want to be remembered as the guide who helped them finally trust their own intuition.”
