Tiffany Smith of New York City on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We recently had the chance to connect with Tiffany Smith and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Tiffany, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is a normal day like for you right now?
– Coffee, strong coffee
– phone emails, returning texts, DMs management
– checking my schedule first thing in the morning.

This is the businesses I’ve ever been so far and I love it, but, it’s been pushing my schedule to its max, I’ve been balancing that.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m a filmmaker, visual thinker, a bit of.a philosopher with a tie to Physics and History.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I’ve had an energetic tie to David Lynch on and off after discovering his work many years ago.

When he died in January of this year, I knew I needed to step up to the plate.

I guess I’d throw some credit his way for that, energetically seeing me maybe, some frequency acknowledgment and permission to go.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
No, but there was a time I “went to sleep”. Thankfully I came back.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Indeed.

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: What false labels are you still carrying?
That I’m weird when I reach out to someone in a DM. Especially if I’m sending follow-up, I fear I’m weirdo alert, that causes some pain for me.
