Travis Ware shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Travis, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day consists of me, myself, and God. That’s all that I care about when I first wake up and my only focus. I pray. I listen to gospel music and I legit just worry about myself and no one else.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a television personality that has appeared on many reality shows and talk shows such as TSWDFL (Season 1-3), Chasing Atlanta (Season 4, The Group Chat (Seasons 1-2), BET’s Ms. Pat Settles It (Season 2) and currently filming another show. I’m also on the social media manager for a few celebrities. What makes me unique is just by being myself. I’m hot stuff hahaha.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who taught you the most about work?
Of course my parents taught me the foundation of working and providing for myself but I have had the pleasure to have other people such as Tiffany LaSha, Tamar Braxton just to name a few on the importance of hard work and about branding myself and leaving a great impression of individuals to continue to grow my business.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
A fear that has held me back most of my life but just recently just changed is realizing that I am more than enough. That I am a valuable individual. That I am worth it. That I am the spotlight that I desire and that I’m not someone’s shadow. It took a lot of self reflection and healing to realize this for me. And I’m happy that I discovered it.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
That everyone in the industry is your friend. Well they are not but it’s important to still remain friendly with everyone no matter what. Doing the right thing will take you far even when folks try to do you wrong. I have always came out on top but treating folks in my industry right and fairly even when I have been done wrong.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
They would definitely miss my positive energy. My loyalty. My laughter. And my ability to not only get the job done but to get the job done with class and dignity.
