I just write. Even though I have no idea where Im going. I just write random word after random word until something comes up. Sometime a big and beautiful idea comes clearly after a while. There were two strategies that have worked for me when it comes to writer’s block. If I can’t figure out where I want a story to go, I write a little placeholder – or simple idea I might not necessarily use – and try to come back to it later and work on another part of the story in the meantime. The other strategy is just to listen to my brain and body and rest. Taking some time to read or watch my favorite shows and films helps keep me inspired too. Read more>>

I don’t force it. I let the ideas come to me. Sometimes the ideas come to me in a dream and I immediately wake up and draw the idea. I’m always drawing up ideas to avoid creative blocks. I like to think of different color scheme depending on the season/time of year. I also stay up to date on what shows/movies are trending for kids themed birthday parties and just imagine how I’d do the project if someone came to me wanting a specific character theme. Read more>>

Early childhood trauma set the stage for so much of my life experience. It was the filter through which EVERYTHING passed. The core wound was the core block and until I sorted that out, I simply experienced variations and symptoms of that block- so there was no shortage of reasons for shutting down and giving up: I’ve been nearly dead 7 or 8 times (Cut my right hand almost entirely off, hit by a car, almost froze to death, hit a tree at 46 MPH while riding my bike, Chronic illness, etc.).
